Broken cars and lies *Update 8/17/2019* So after bring the car in and being without a vehicle for almost a week, they called and said the parts they ordered were in (I wa *Update 8/17/2019* So after bring the car in and being without a vehicle for almost a week, they called and said the parts they ordered were in (I was never told I was waiting for parts, infact I wasn't told anything) and I could bring the rental back.. rental?! I never had one. The service advisor I usually work with was full and didn't have an open slot so they stuck me with someone else... Who got fired the next day. On Friday (I dropped the car off on Monday) I got a call and they told me they replaced the control arm and it's STILL making the noise. I was told they are at a loss and will have to call Toyota tech and if they can't fix it then, they will have to have a tech come out and look at it and try and fix it and if they can't fix it then... No one could give me an answer. I felt alot with service manager Erick (he's great) I explained all my frustrations and he understood and got me with the sales manager. On this trip I ended up spending more money than I really wanted to but I ended up buying a brand new vehicle because I was so over all the garbage and run around. Not to mention every used car I looked at ON THEIR WEBSITE their answer was "oh that one JUST sold, oh that one too JUST sold... really?! or are you putting cars on the website to bait and switch?" At least now I will have a reliable vehicle. It took 5 hours of negeoating. Finally we reached an agreement, however once we got to finance they did not agree to the terms that were agreed upon. Eventually my cosigner just put it in my name and we will just have to refinance in a year so or so to get it back in his name. Meanwhile while all this was going on a mother with her child were yelling at a sale manager for changing their terms that were not agreed upon... Hmmm I see a pattern. She got up and walked away calling the sales team "nothing better than a 70s used care sales man" What's the take away? I will NEVER buy orrecommend this facility. The only reason I will return is for my free 2 years of service (oil changes etc) that came w the car or God forbid something happen within my 7 year 100k mile warranty. *Update 8/10/2019* So I purchased my SECOND vehicle from this location because of the great experience we had the first time. I brought used'17 Corolla with only 18k mi on it. With in the first couple days,I noticed a sound coming from the front passenger suspension area when I made a u turn, a sharp turn, or hit a bump with the wheel was turned left. I took it in and they told me it was the mud flap... Now I'm not a mechanic but I have worked on some cars in my day. This was not a rubbing or scraping sound. I took it in the second time and the lead tech got in the car and test rode with me. He said with a cringe on his face "oh that's definitely the axel." They put a new axel on it and said they were going to order me the passenger side axel. I brought it in for the third time so they can put in the passenger axel. I told them PLEASE check the CV joints, explicitly the shock and struts. They finished the passenger axel and they told me the shocks and struts and everything looked fine. On my way to work tonight I drove over a brick road and made a left. When I heard that familiar hollow bouncing sound that sounds like my tire is about to fall off. No vibration in the wheel, no sound when the wheel is straight. The kicker in the story........ I HAVEN'T EVEN MADE MY FIRST PAYMENT!! That's right, I have had this vehicle that I bought from this location, that was "certified" by their mechanics and cleared it for sale. Then once I bring it in, I get the run around, talked to a service manager, a sales manager, and I am awaiting a phone call from the regional sales manager at this point. Being that my vehicle is still under factory warranty and it was faulty off the lot, they have been repairing it at no cost to me, but I'm really getting tired of being jerked around and I wish they would just fix the problem or put me in a new car (lemon law) so I can enjoy my purchase. I will be there Monday taking it in for a FOURTH time. I will be more than happy to change this review if they can get it together and just get it fixed! More

BUYER BEWARE..thought I was dealing with a good dealership Purchased a 2018 BMW X5 from David Maus Toyota traded a 2017 GMC Arcadia and a 2013 BMW in on the deal for around $43,000.00 which I believe it was a Purchased a 2018 BMW X5 from David Maus Toyota traded a 2017 GMC Arcadia and a 2013 BMW in on the deal for around $43,000.00 which I believe it was a good deal. The problem was my inspection with the salesman Eric. I asked if the car had two fobs and it did not so it was agree the I would get a second fob in writing. Then while inspecting the 2018 BMW the back leather seat had a stain which Eric said detail would take care of, but they did not. The second was on the left rear door and fender there appeared to be tar marks on the car and it was verbally agreed that detail would take care of that as well. When detailing the tar they caused multiple paint pitting that would not rub out. When I got the car home it was raining and the next morning I saw the paint pitting. They had an employee (Raphael) pick up one of the trades at my house and I showed him the car and he said detail caused the paint damage buffing out the car. Raphael took pictures to show what happened and I also took pictures and contacted my salesman Eric and he said they would not do a paint repair on the car. I bought the car as is and signed an as is agreement but detail did the damage to the car getting the tar off after as is inspection. Our verbal agreement I had a estimate done and its $900.00 to repair the paint damage which the sale manager Dave Smith said they would not repair the paint. I filed a complaint with the attorney general office and will be filing in small claims court in Seminole country. BUYER BEWARE at David Maus Toyota when spending $43,000.00 on a vehicle they don't fix damage they have done during detail after an "as is inspection". More
Window Tint Warranty Hello, On Thursday August 15th I took my wifes 2010 Toyota Rav4 that I bought and had windows tinted at time of sale in October 2012 to David Maus Toy Hello, On Thursday August 15th I took my wifes 2010 Toyota Rav4 that I bought and had windows tinted at time of sale in October 2012 to David Maus Toyota.The tint film on both front wondows were bubling.I went to my Advisor Isiah Jones, whom helped me with re tint of both windows under Lifetime Warranty of Tint. Dropped Rav4 off for a few hours,went shopping locally, and 2-3 hrs later, my vehicle was ready and looked great as NEW !!! Window Tint Tech did a Great Job,5 STARS !Isiah was most courtious and helpfull,all was $0.00 and covered under Tint Lifetime Warranty by David Maus Toyota. If I ever need more work on my 2010 Rav4 or my 2013 Tacoma all bought at David Maus Toyota,I will always return and recommend them also always,If and when I am ready for a new Toyota ,I will always return to David Maus Toyota again ! They proceeded to show me the vehicle I was inquiring about and was pleasantly surprised that the SUV was as described, unlike previous experiences elsewhere. Overall the buying experience was made easy by Juan’s knowledge of the vehicle and Aseem’s exceptional ability to accommodate our needs. They explained the process as we move forward and could see that both Aseem and Juan wanted to earn our business without being making us feeled pressured something we truly appreciated. The overall care and having both of them listen to what we were looking for and being able to deliver has made me a customer for life.
