Very disappointed. I would not recommend bringing your vehicle for service at Seminole Chevy. I called to schedule an appointment for my diesel truck. I made sure to l I would not recommend bringing your vehicle for service at Seminole Chevy. I called to schedule an appointment for my diesel truck. I made sure to let the people know it was a diesel I would be bringing in. Upon my arrival I was assigned to an individual who was a "gas" person and could not assist me with my truck. I asked why this would happen and my service person told me that when they schedule it's just whoever you get. I mentioned that why would I be schedule to have someone look at my truck, when in fact they do not deal with diesels. I essentially got the "it is what it is" from my service person whom I checked in with. No apology or sorry for the inconvenience as if he did not care at all about my issue. They know it is a problem and just do not fix it. I ended up having to leave my truck there and was told I would be getting phone calls on multiple occasions and never got them. I always had to contact them for any updates and answers. The only way I found out that my part for my truck came in was I called and had to leave a message. To my understanding I was suppose to get a call the day before with an update, but did not receive a call. When I spoke to my service person in charge of my truck they denied it. I get a call back telling me my part came in and I can drop it off. I drop off my vehicle and it was serviced. When I mention all these issues to my service person the same attitude of "it is what it is and I don't care" attitude was given. Disheartedly, he was the assistant service manager. I then talk to the service manager about the situation and they give me the exact same attitude. They said we have the only diesel mechanic for a 30 mile radius so be thankful. What I got from that was they know what they have and use that against you for bringing your diesel truck there. They provided sub par service and have the attitude of not caring because they have one of the few diesel mechanics in the area. Since I have a warranty on my truck I had to take it to a chevy dealership. They know that and use it to provide sub par service. I hope if you diesel drivers have to take your vehicle here, please ensure someone there can help you. I would not recommend this dealership. The "it is what it is" and "we know what we got so deal with it" attitude was very frustrating. Unfortunately my warranty did not cover everything needed to fix my truck. When I spoke to them about the issues I had and felt like they did not provide the best service and maybe get the price down on my bill. They did not want to help me out on the price at all and gave the attitude of too bad pay us and leave we do not care about the problems. More
