Darrell Hair was our contact and you could not ask for a more friendly, open and respectable person. After we test drove the car he stated: "if you want to look elsewhere please do sod or we can talk about this vehicle." Where have you ever heard that statement from a car salesman? Darrell is not a car salesman he's a friend in the car business. He walked and talked us through every step of the way, I had never financed a vehicle before, and held our hands all through the process. We truly cannot say enough about Darrell or Selective Autoplex except buy your next car here. No pressure, no hassle More

When we went to the dealership, we were helped by salesman Derrell Hair. He was definitely on top of things. He knew all about the car and produced a carfax report immediately. After a test drive, I knew this was the car for me. It only took less than an hour to wrap up the deal, Derrell had it detailed and ready for me in a couple of hours and I am so happy to be driving my 'new' Lexus! Derrell was so helpful and pollite. If you decide to visit this dealership, ask for Derrell Hair, You will be glad you did! More

AWFUL experience The car I bought has been in the shop more than in my driveway. They would not negotiate on the price, sold me a car without a navigation card and then sent one that didn't work so now the speaker feature and navigation are useless. The warranty only had 1500 miles left on it so when we took it to a Mercedes dealership it was pretty embarrassing that we bought this car and the things they had to fix like seatbelts being twisted and repaired BACKWARDS, as well as missing parts on the undercarriage that the dealership that sold us the car should have replaced or fixed. So much time has been wasted taking the car in to be fixed. I feel totally taken at this point and already hate this car. Waste of time and money for sure. GET YOUR CAR INSPECTED at a dealership before you buy here to make sure they are on the up and up on what is going on with the car. More

Darrell Was Great! I recently was looking for a quality used vehicle and I found what I was looking for at Selective Autoplex in Carrollton, Texas. When I called the de I recently was looking for a quality used vehicle and I found what I was looking for at Selective Autoplex in Carrollton, Texas. When I called the dealership to confirm that the vehicle was still available, I spoke with Darrell Hair. He was very professional and told me it was still available. We spoke about the details of the vehicle and it's mileage and condition. Once I decided to buy the 2017 Honda CRV EX-L, had my bank contact Darrell and he took care of all the details of the sale by phone. I live 2 hours from Carrollton and told him I would have to come in on Saturday to pick up the CRV. When we arrived at the dealership, the CRV was washed and parked out front and Darrell was there and ready to take care of us. Since so much of the paperwork had been done before we arrived, we took the vehicle for a test drive, looked it over and signed the paperwork. We were only at the dealership for about an hour! It was the best car buying experience I have ever had! If you are looking for a high quality used vehicle, call Darrell at Selective Autoplex. You won't regret it! Robert T More
Started Great -- Until I Bought the Vehicle This is such a mixed review. I initially felt at ease coming into the dealership and dealing with Darrell. I knew the type of vehicle I wanted, be This is such a mixed review. I initially felt at ease coming into the dealership and dealing with Darrell. I knew the type of vehicle I wanted, because I'd previously owned one and was looking for a second vehicle to commute between Dallas and Fort Worth. I was shown the Carfax and was told the vehicle had just undergone a however-many-point inspection, oil change, as well as it's Texas inspection, and review by an independent company who provided a certain number on a scale. We took the auto on a test drive down a long, straight road near the dealership where he had me turn around go back. Unfortunately, we did not take it on the freeway -- BIG mistake. Everything seemed great, so I arranged to purchase the vehicle. Since I had driven my other vehicle to the dealership, Darrell offered to drive the one I'd just purchased to my home, if I brought him back. On the way back to the dealership (Darrell) was still driving and I got into the car. He proceeding to tell me that the car drove smooth on the way to my place. However, I noticed while on the freeway the vehicle was vibrating, so I brought it to his attention. He said it was only the road - not the vehicle. Wrong! I dropped him off and drove the vehicle back to my place - he said the dealership was closed so just drop him at his vehicle. That is when I realized it was not the road, but the car. On top of that, I contacted him to let him know that the vehicle was vibrating and not the road as he told me it was. And, I went on to say that even though I bought the vehicle at over 79k miles I was going to need to have the paperwork showing all the maintenance they did on the car, because according to my extended warranty paperwork I had to abide by the manufacture's maintenance plan or my warranty would be voided. 80K was the next maintenance - and an expensive one. Darrell told me I would have to pay for that and they could/would not give me paperwork to show any maintenance they did to the car. Turns out - I tried to use the mechanism to spray wiper fluid to clean the windshield - no fluid; I also need to have new shocks on the vehicle on top of fixing the vibration issue and pay an additional $600 for the 80k maintenance. What seemed to be a fair deal on a vehicle (as related to others of its model/mileage) has turned out to be a poor deal after finding out I need another $2000 worth of maintenance and his/the dealerships only suggestion was to take to inexpensive mechanic. Do not take their word on maintenance that was done - unless they provide you the paperwork BEFORE you sign the papers and have a mechanic thoroughly review the vehicle before you even consider doing so.
