What a wonderful experience! I found a very low mileage 1986 Corvette that Select Auto had listed on Ebay. I emailed them asking for more pictures, which they promptly provided. I was the high bidder when the auction closed, but it didn't meet its reserve. I messaged Select Auto with my offer. A little back and forth and we struck a deal I was very happy with. Robert suggested the car be inspected at the local Chevrolet dealer just to make sure there weren't any problems with the car. I am buying this sight unseen and going off pictures on Ebay and their website. I gladly paid for the inspection and they dropped of the car at the dealership and picked it up for me. No charge. Here is the deal folks. I bought what was quite possibly the cheapest car they have had on their lot ever. They still treated me as though I was buying one of their $100,000 Mercedes or BMWs. They didn't have to. They chose to. Most dealerships wouldn't have bothered with a buyer literally half way across the country. Every step of the way they were as polite as could be. No wonder they have won so many awards. Some paperwork was signed online and hard copies were sent back and forth via Fedex. Everything went smooth as silk. I lined up a transport and Hassan helped get the car loaded. He provided me with a video of the whole loading process. The best part is I LOVE THE CAR! 33 year old car with only 10,000 miles.
