Just purchased my third vehicle from Selden Motors and as with my last two, I couldn't be happier. The buying process is smooth and easy and the guys are great to deal with. I'd recommend them to anyone! with my last two, I couldn't be happier. The buying process is smooth and easy and the guys are great to deal with. I'd recommend them to anyone! More

In November 2023 I purchased a 2016 Porsche Cayenne and it is now three months later and I am being told by Scott that there is an issue with the Title , It can not be registered , Can NOT DRIVE IT , Makin it is now three months later and I am being told by Scott that there is an issue with the Title , It can not be registered , Can NOT DRIVE IT , Making payments , Paying insurance and taxes on a vehicle that has an issue with the title , Seldon Motors never should have sold this Porsche without making sure it had a clear title first , after reading all the poor reviews I would recommend to do your research before you buy a vehicle from Seldon Motors More
My purchase occurred 14 December 2023. Bottom lines, I later discovered that the car was potentially unsafe to drive and needed $8.000 - $10,000 to repair/service. After taking possession of the car, I took it to a Mercedes certified mechanic to look over the car. I learned that the car has advanced rust to the rear subframe. Not only is there surface rust present, but the subframe and associated parts have holes where the rust has eaten through. My mechanic called to tell me the bad news and suggested that the car could present safety issues. He also stated that the company from which I purchased the extended warranty (for ~ $4,000) would not cover it. My mechanic checked with Mercedes, and they would not cover the cost to repair – between $6,000 and $8,000. I also learned from my mechanic that the car needed service, including servicing worn brakes. It cost me ~ $2,000 to replace filters, brake sensors, brake discs, and brake pads. In essence, I paid full retail value for a car that needed $8,000 - $10,000 of repairs to make it safe. I reached out to the salesperson, Scott Knocksin, to inform him of the rust issue. He was surprised, stating that the car was checked out/inspected twice. He suggested that perhaps it was just surface rust. I assured him that it wasn’t and that I would send a copy of the video showing the advanced degree of the rust. That information has been sent and still no response from Scott or anyone at the dealership. I blame myself for not having the car checked out by a local mechanic prior to purchase. I trusted the dealership general manager, which was my mistake. The takeaway from my personal experience and that of others I’ve read about is that customer service is pretty good pre-sale, but post sale, don’t hold your breath waiting for a return call or a problem to be addressed. And, have a trusted mechanic check out the car prior to purchase to ensure you are not being cheated. More
The ABSOLUTE WORSE, experience! ! I was there on 1/22/24 looking at a 2015 Xfinity QX70s, 65k mi. Although it had to be jumped off and needed an oil change, Al H. (my salesman) insi ! I was there on 1/22/24 looking at a 2015 Xfinity QX70s, 65k mi. Although it had to be jumped off and needed an oil change, Al H. (my salesman) insisted "you're getting a new battery and an oil changed whether you like it or not." We laughed and completed the test drive. After the test drive, Al took the vehicle back while I waited. The General Manager, Scott started to converse with me and asked If I'd like to place a hold on the vehicle. I agreed to the hold of $1000.00. On 1/24/24, My Credit Union informed me that they were unable to finance the vehicle because it was over 7 years old. Well, I contacted the dealership and informed them of the issues. Scott, then says, "Well you signed a Non-refundable partial payment, and I changed the oil and battery (which they were going to do anyway, so that's no favor for me) because you agreed to buy it by Monday Jan 29th" This was NOT a hold in which he asked me to sign. The form also stated that "Purchaser may cancel this contract and receive a full refund (Including any non-refundable partial payment made) at any time with written letter of cancellation. Well, I sent that email to Al on Wed 1/24/24. Al and Scott both stated that they need to contact the dealership's owner to see if he'd agreed to return my $1000.00. Of course, they didn't call me back so I continued to call them and Scott answers and say, "Look man, he's not returning your refund, it's not our fault your bank wouldn't finance the vehicle, you should check with your bank before coming here. At this point, I was livid and argued that You, Scott, LIED!! You said it was a hold. I requested that the Owner of the dealership call me which haven't happened. After the call ended, I contacted the consumer protection agency and Better Business Bureau and I am NOT giving up without a fight. Loyalty goes a Loonnnggg way and clearly Selden Motors lack that!!!. More
Love my palladium silver 2014 Mercedes E63s, I found it on the Selden Motors youtube page and after looking it up on their website I called Scott and spoke to him and had the deal done within an hour. They on the Selden Motors youtube page and after looking it up on their website I called Scott and spoke to him and had the deal done within an hour. They handled setting up the shipping and the title came certified mail within 2 weeks of the cars delivery. There were a couple miniscule things I fixed myself on the car, I am a Mercedes collector/enthusiast, do my own work and I didnt mind bc of the spec; I was looking for one with a few odd options that were deal-breakers if they werent equiped. I didnt get to see it in person until it was delivered and after a wash and detail, it looks awesome and there were no big "suprises". Thank you Selden Motors & No Limit Transport. More

I came here wanting to write a good review and for the most part I had a good experience until I noticed that they sold me a car with an inspection that was 3 months out of date. And what makes it worse i most part I had a good experience until I noticed that they sold me a car with an inspection that was 3 months out of date. And what makes it worse is I put money down on the car on a Tuesday to pick it up on Saturday. So they had 4 days to get the car inspected and ready for delivery. It left a bad taste in my mouth knowing they knew I was picking it up 4 days after my deposit and still didn’t do the right thing and inspect the car. I do think the car is in perfect running condition so I’m hoping it passes. I guess I’m gonna find out if it is. Update: I took the car to get inspected and it failed. It needs two new front axles, brake pads and rotors on all four corners. This will cost me over $1000 in parts alone. I’ve worked in the auto industry for over 30 years and I’ve worked for owners that do the right thing by their customers and shady owners that only care about profits. For them to sell a $24k car that won’t pass a basic state inspection shows what kind of owners they are. If you’re buying a car from them you better hope it’s mechanically sound because they will not do their due diligence and make it right. More
