We were in a predicament with my daughter's VW breaking down on the turnpike (she is a college student 2 hours away) and the car was towed to a dealer in Harrisburg. The estimated cost of repair was more than the remaining loan on the car and we decided not to fix it. My daughter needed a car ASAP to get to her student teaching assignment. Having had a very positive experience at Savage Hyundai previously, I called and explained our dilemma to Andrew. He contacted his wholesaler,made arrangements to have the car towed from Harrisburg to Savage at no cost to us, and scheduled an appt to meet with my daughter that weekend, at which time he spent the entire afternoon allowing her to test drive several vehicles and completing the sale of her new Hyundai Accent so that she could drive it home that day! I stopped at Savage Hyundai to "begin" my search for a new car. I was reluctant to use this dealership based on an unpleasant experience on a busy day in 2008 of not being approached by any s search for a new car. I was reluctant to use this dealership based on an unpleasant experience on a busy day in 2008 of not being approached by any staff after a considerable amount of time. Given Hyundai's excellent reputation, I decided to give it another try. The staff was very friendly this time. I was greeted immediately by Steve and other staff. Steve worked with me to help me select a model that would meet my needs, taking several out for test drives. I decided on the 2012 Elantra Limited and told Steve what I was willing to pay/month and if he could work it out I would leave with the new car. Till we were done, I also fell in love with the Tuscon and traded my husband's sedan for the Elantra and my SUV for a 2012 Tuscon GLS AWD. I drove the Elantra home that day and picked up the Tuscon the next day and was impressed that the staff knew why I was there and I wasn't approached as just another customer. I returned a few days after to have the anti-soil treatment applied to the Elantra and was given a nice loaner vehicle to use while my car was in Service. I would recommend this dealership to anyone! More
He knew every thing about the 2012 Sanota.He walked me to each dept. and shop at the location and interduced me each head of the dept. He gave a great deal on the car I was trading. I went to Savage to buy a used car. Their employees were very friendly and helpful. Andrew was the main person I talked to the whole time. He was extremely helpful given my situation. Many people told me they are very difficult to deal with. But I had to give them the benifit of the doubt. I asked for a price, I was shopping for a car. They refused and said bring your best price and we will beat it. So I stopped in with my best price. They "said" they would be it and gave me a price. But they did not have it in stock and woud get it. When they got it in, they called and I went back, it was higher than what they had told me. When I reminded them of the price they quoted... the comment was... They will never sell it for that price. Please people, just stand by what you say. If I have this much trouble with the price, just imagine how their service is. NOT A COMPANY I WANT TO DEAL WITH. More
