I was a first time buyer and he really helped me understand the process. He was straight forward with me and he didn't beat around the bush when I asked for his opinion. He truly cares about his clients and isn't just trying to sell cars to make money. When I'm in need of a new car, I will be returning to Nick at Seelye! More

He guaranteed it would be done by the end of the day. Now I have to wait all weekend to find out what's wrong. Also they are charging me double the quoted price of $90. I have had nothing but problems with seelye auto group. I will never do business with them again. More

I was only able to get a reasonable price by providing a written estimate from another dealer (which was more than $125 cheaper). When I called for an estimate to get the alternator replaced on our 2004 Ford Escape, the original person told me "High 3's to high 4's". I wanted to make sure I understood him, so I asked, "No more than 500?" To which he answered, "yes". I called a few other places including another Ford dealership which quoted $550, so I called Seelye back and set up an appointment. We dropped the vehicle off the evening before it was scheduled to be serviced, and the service adviser, Amy, asked if we would like them to verify it was the alternator before replacing it. We agreed, and so we left with an estimate for only the diagnosis ($50). Amy said she would call with the full estimate once the diagnosis was done. When Amy called the next morning, the full estimate was ~$725! I didn't understand why it was so much higher, and I told her that I was originally given an estimate of not more than $500. She brushed this aside and didn't care. I also told her that I had other estimates all of which were considerably less, and she responded that they weren't some shabby independent shop and used new genuine Ford parts. I told her that one of the considerably cheaper estimates was from another dealer, and she agreed to match the price if I could get her a written estimate. Thankfully, the other dealer was much more courteous and helpful. The created a written estimate (!$560) and faxed it to Seelye for me. Seelye then matched the price plus the diagnostic charge. When picking up the vehicle, Amy seemed irritated and didn't assist in finding the vehicle or keys after we had paid. It took them about 10 minutes to finally figure out where our vehicle was and bring it around to us. We will take our business elsewhere in the future. More

All went well with test drives, picking out vehicle.. Then the end with Dean DeGroot doing paperwork was not fun. This wasn't our first vehicle we have financed, and we are not young. Let's just say, he lacked professionalism & customer service skills. Yes, I liked the salesman we worked with... Would I recommend seelye? Probably not if everyone has to end the deal with Dean DeGroot! Still shaking my head!?!? More

I needed a new car due to my old car having transmission problems. I did not qualify for a new car so unfortunately had to buy a used car. The car had minor issues upon buying. In which they promised to fix problems. I did not qualify for a new car so unfortunately had to buy a used car. The car had minor issues upon buying. In which they promised to fix before we took it home, like rear defrost not hooked up, seat mechanism not working properly. After having it a couple of months the alternator went out, the computer mechanism for dashboard and air bag went out. Everytime I brought it back with my extended warranty it was supposedly fixed. Every issue we had with the car was broughten back twice or more just to fix the one problem it came in for. Customer service does not call you to give you an up to date with the car. They do not let you know it will cost X amount of dollars to fix and find out if customer would like to continue with work, they just do the work and add whatever to the bill. I feel that the people working for Don Seelye Ford are incompetant as can be. If you have alternative...do not buy from this dealership. More
Just left this dealership with a very bad taste. I called Jeremy about a blue '08 G37. I specifically asked over the phone if this car had any dings, dents, etc. and he said the car has no such damage and that it's clean. Taking his word, I drove 2.5 hrs from Chicago only to find the car RIDDLED with dings, dents, and scratches. One of the dents was so bad that the paint was chipping away and all rusted. I asked Jeremy why he didn't mention this to me over the phone and he said, "I swear to god I did not see this until this morning." After apologizing several times he said, "My manager said to not say anything about the damage and have them look at it when they get here" I felt so disgusted having spent so much time and money traveling only to be lied to right to my face. We offered a very reasonable price, they accepted the offer only to give me a ridiculously unfair trade-in value for my current car (to make up for their "loss" on the G37). Complete liars and everybody was in on the scheme including the managers. 1-star for them at least giving me a gas card so I can fill up my tank to drive back to Chicago. More
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I'm sure once Ryan reads HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I'm sure once Ryan reads or hears about this he will remember me quite fondly!! I went to Don Seelye Ford because they HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I'm sure once Ryan reads or hears about this he will remember me quite fondly!! I went to Don Seelye Ford because they seemed to have nice cars and the "yes we can" slogan so I was sure I would find what I was looking for. I already was driving a Saturn that was giving me numerous of problems so the last thing I wanted was another Saturn I told Ryan that from the beginning and yet what did he find me? A Saturn. He was very aggressive about the sell he kept saying that since it was a newer Saturn that the car wouldn't give me the same problems. So I tried the newer Saturn out over the weekend and decided I would get it. returned the car back to the dealership that Monday and decided by wednesday I wanted the car so i went in ready to sign the paperwork and take the car. Ryan had all sorts of excuses first he changed the price on the car, then he said I had to trade in the Saturn I owned that was being valued for $400 or so. Eventually I agreed so Ryan went to get the new Saturn and get it cleaned and ready for me to take home but instead he pull a act and says he can't find the keys to the car! Instead of making the effort to find the keys to the car Ryan leaves for lunch and heads to buffalo wild wings across the street an leave me and my father in his little cubicle talking to one of his co workers about his life! There was never any effort to find the keys and Ryan was gone for over 30 minutes! We left and decided not to get the car! That same week I went to COLE KRUM and found the exact car I wanted at an even better price I did not trade in my Saturn and I drove my car home the SAME day and I LOVE my car!! Oh and p.s Ryan you kept showing me your little Kia my car is way better than yours haha!! Don Seelye ford is a horrible dealership I would never recommend them to anyone!! COLE KRUM is the best place to get a vehicle at a good price!!! More
We bought 2 vehicles off of Steve Leep within 3 weeks time, the last one he delivered to us in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. When his driver was about 2 hours out from leaving with our trade we realized th time, the last one he delivered to us in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. When his driver was about 2 hours out from leaving with our trade we realized that my fiancée had left her sunglasses in the car ($180 ray bans). I texted Mr Leep about it and he said he would grab them when the car got back and send them out to us. He then confirmed later that he had the glasses on his desk. My fiancee was beyond excited that she would get her glasses back. A week went by and when I questioned the status he said that someone had stolen to glasses from his desk and he was going to cut us a check to make up for it, she was heartbroken. We initially resisted and offered to split the difference but he insisted on paying for them in full, my fiancée was so happy that we would be able to replace her glasses. He told us the check would be in our registration packet. When the registration packet came there was no check. When I questioned Steve about it he said he didn't know why it wasn't there and would find out where it is. Steve has been unresponsive to me asking where the check is for the past 6 months now. Steve is a liar who was quite responsive while I purchased 2 vehicles from him but now can't be bothered to even apologize for breaking my fiancées heart over these glasses. More
