I arrived at the service center at 8:55am on a Saturday. It took me 1 hour to drop off my truck. After speaking with the service advisor and being told I would have to pay $150 for services that weren't ev It took me 1 hour to drop off my truck. When I first leased the vehicle I was told I would not have to pay for oil changes. The advisor told me he would look into that and call me with an answer. We live 45 minutes away and did not want to get a call later in the day only to find out I would be charged for something my husband could do at home. After finally getting an answer an hour later we left my truck there. As it neared 2pm (knowing the service dept closed at that time) I called the service dept to check on my car for I had not heard anything yet. We were told when I called at 1:45pm that we can come to pick up my truck but had to pay over the phone because by the time we got there no one would be there, which is understandable. We got to the dealership and picked up the invoice and my key at the sales desk. After looking it over we noticed it said there was a recall on my truck. Why were we never told after the few times we spoke to the service dept on the phone? That is unacceptable. The customer service in the service dept is horrible. They make you feel unwanted and that we were a bother to them for coming in for a service we were told we needed to come for. Overall it was not a good experience and I hope it doesn't happen again. I have given you this below normal rating because I believe that the work was not done according to my acceptance. The brakes are still making noise and also I submitted a coupon for a special price fo believe that the work was not done according to my acceptance. Found it strange that customers waiting for service had to pay for coffee/tea. I cannot believe the dealership has to charge for this. 2/19/11-8:30 AM-visited parts dept to get new license plate holder for front plate (old one was cracked by someone backing into it). Was quoted price of $23 & would have to be gotten from warehouse for M plate holder for front plate (old one was cracked by someone backing into it). Called parts dept-said part was in & that they had called. I have answering machine & there was no message nor any call when someone was home. 2/24/11-my son brought car in at 12:55 PM. Work wasn't completed until 3 PM. Bill was $46.81 (part #4806019-AC). Why was part twice the quoted price? There was no labor cost listed. Why did it take two hours to install a simple holder? If the shop was really busy, why didn't the Service Mgr let him know? There's a definite lack of communication & a concern about prices. I'm not happy that a simple task got messed up. I hesitate to engage in any involved costly work in the future. Let me know your opinion. I'm interested in your input. Thanks. More
