Poor service all the way around I have brought my Cherokee in for service twice in the past 6 months for oil changes. I promptly bring my Jeep in for its routine maintenance out of I have brought my Cherokee in for service twice in the past 6 months for oil changes. I promptly bring my Jeep in for its routine maintenance out of respect and in order to keep your vehicle in the best condition possible so that it has the maximum value when I return it at the end of the lease. Both of the last two times that I have brought it in for service I have asked them if they could repair the gas door which doesn't open using the dashboard button anymore. For the past 6 - 8 months, every time that I need to put gas in the car, I have had to reach my arm inside the rear door panel to pull on some manual release cord. My wife can no longer drive my vehicle because she doesn't feel comfortable opening the door manually. At my last appointment I was told that the repair was not covered by the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty and that it would cost hundreds of dollars to fix. My lease is up in 2 months, so for me to repair an issue that should have been a recall issue because of the vast numbers of Jeep owners that have experienced the same problem, seems ridiculous. I have received several follow up contacts after my last service appointment which I have ignored because I have been so upset. I have leased Jeeps twice in the past 6 years and I took terrific care in maintaining your vehicles. I have even returned them with much less mileage than I paid for. I thought that i deserved better treatment but the service manager that I finally responded to via email Darilyn Whitlock, stated that she would reach out to the service manager whom would get back to me regarding my service issues. I never heard back from anyone. Lets be honest, would you lease another vehicle from Security Dodge? The answer is no. More
I've had an appointment for over a month. I specifically noted with my appt what was needed done. I also do not live close to the dealer. I made arrangements for someone to pick me up since there was no loa noted with my appt what was needed done. I also do not live close to the dealer. Not until I arrived to the dealer (with someone following me) was I told that they were not going to perform what I needed done. At no point was I contacted before hand that they were not going to work on my vehicle even when my work order stated what was needed done. After waiting weeks for my appt, me and another person who was doing a favor wasted hours out of our day for no good reason. More
