That morning, I got error codes that all the tires were under-inflated, likely brought on by the temperature. I came in for an afternoon appointment and planned to wait in the lobby and just work on my laptop. The lobby is your typical Mini dealership lobby with great snacks and drinks and beautiful bathrooms. Lo and behold as slammed as the service department is that day, they are unable to start work on my car, so they comp me a loaner of a 2018 Mini Clubman and promise to have the car done the next morning. (it's worth noting that Brandon Gloeckner was my service advisor). The next morning I get a call from Brandon that my car is all ready. I head over in the loaner (which was awesome, and a great sales tactic) and settle up for the bill. Six services were performed on my car and the bulk of the cost was labor. Services performed were: Brake fluid flush/refill/test, replace microfilter, fuel injection service, coolant system service (vacuum drain, fill, bleed, hose inspection, refill), tire rotation/brake inspection, engine oil service (2L of Mini Synthetic). This all ran me a steep but reasonable 633 dollars with tax. 404 bucks in labor, which I don't even argue with anymore. Be honest. Good mechanics get paid well (as they should). Do you want a guy who is paid 15.50/hr working on your very complex car? Me neither. Total parts amounted to 138 bucks. A cursory web search indicated to me that the part costs were nearly identical to what I could buy them for. Fantastic service and I will continue to get service on my vehicle here until it becomes unfeasible to do so. More

To start with, someone needs to teach the Customer Service Representatives to smile. Secondly, they need to be taught how to be a little considerate. They seem to be quite arrogant for such customer-facing positions. They would have no hesitation in refusing service by using lame excuses. They do not hesitate to bother customers to come back multiple times unnecessarily rather than help resolve issues sooner. Thirdly, they could use some better learning about customer co-ordination, courteous behavior, and common sense rather than go by textbook like statements. Lastly, they are very expensive when it comes to labor, in addition to already expensive parts. It is a pure rip-off big-time. For everything they would charge 2 labors - one for diagnosis & two for fix/install. Ideally, they should credit back the diagnosis towards fix/install if the customer chooses to perform the fix then and there. The technician is not really going to spend twice the amount of time. Very Unreasonable Service Center. I wish I could avoid going there. But, there are parts that are available only at the MINI service center. So, I have to force myself to go there. Sometimes, it feels as if the technicians program the cars such that the customers are required to come back to the service center every other month. I am unable to quantify that statement, but that is my genuine gut feeling. Overall - Seattle MINI Service Center : BAD More
GO ELSEWHERE FOR SERVICE! UNFORTUNATELY... This service department is giving MINI a BAD REPUTATION! I LOVE MY MINI!!!! But I will drive to Texas before I go back here. Start UNFORTUNATELY... This service department is giving MINI a BAD REPUTATION! I LOVE MY MINI!!!! But I will drive to Texas before I go back here. Started with my name being backwards, so they didn't see my appointment. Easy enough to fix! I left my car to have a few things looked at. The list of things they came back with that it needed was different on paper than what the service adviser said. The issues I wanted them to look at did not get addressed. Even after I asked three times. When I picked it up "ready" must have meant something else because I waited another 45 minutes for my car. The service adviser magically disappeared when I went to pay. I was overcharged for "Mini Inspection" that was supposed to be covered in the Oil change. But since I was already an hour into "picking up my car" and no service person around, I paid and vowed to write a review so people don't have high expectations of getting good service here. Funny, I was never sent a customer service rating form. I guess they knew!!! More
My first service with Mini Seattle was a complete disaster. I had several items wrong with the car. Some were intermittent, some consistent. After holding the car for one week, I get a call back t disaster. I had several items wrong with the car. Some were intermittent, some consistent. After holding the car for one week, I get a call back that everything I had itemized as issues were all "working as designed". My service rep was especially adept at evading direct questions and providing lengthy dissertations on things not related at all to the issue under discussion. I was met with repeated statements of "I have my best mechanic on it", "he's worked on reproducing the issues repeatedly all day and cannot reproduce", and "we've determined that this issue is working exactly as designed". Each and every issue came to this same conclusion. At this point I decided to pick my car up anyhow instead of arguing about it on the phone and offered to reproduce any issue when I arrived. I was greeted by a different service rep. He and a mechanic walked with me to the car and I reproduced every item. For each, they both declared that it was not working as designed - completely the opposite of the first crew. They kept the car another week to replace all the impacted items. Now with my car gone for over two weeks, I go to pick it up and they can't find it or the paper work. The idiot initial rep had misfiled things and no one could readily find it. A mechanic was able to eventually find the key, but the folks working the front desk were unable to find or reproduce any of the paperwork so I drove it home in the end. More
I'd stay away from them! Very bad experience when having my car serviced - told me I needed work done that didn't in fact need doing, and then quoted horrendous prices for it! Found an independent that was my car serviced - told me I needed work done that didn't in fact need doing, and then quoted horrendous prices for it! Found an independent that was much better. Didn't buy my car there though so can't comment on their salespeople, only their service people More

I've purchased two MINIs in the past four years. I love my car but it's the VIP service I get at Seattle MINI that keeps me coming back. My most recent visit to Seattle MINI involved me stopping by while I was in the area to order snow tires. Raychel in the service department was able to squeeze my Countyman into the service schedule right then to have my new snow tires installed immediately. I was expecting to have to order the tires & wheels and schedule a future service appointment for install. I appreciate the efforts of the parts department & Raychel in service which resulted in me being ready for ski season all with one stop. Plus I left with a freshly washed car. Totally happy & ready for the slopes in my 2011 Countryman. More

It is this customer attention that makes me continue to go back to Seattle Mini. I always leave Seattle Mini with a smile on my face which has to be attributed to their attention to their customers and positive atmosphere throughout the dealership. More
This dealer is GREAT! What makes it great are the people. My service advisor is Rachael Gainey, she's a sweetie. Alway a smile, always polite, just a pleasure to deal with, regardless of the news on the car. My service advisor is Rachael Gainey, she's a sweetie. Alway a smile, always polite, just a pleasure to deal with, regardless of the news on the car. Their service team is fantastic. Got to know several of the wrenchs and always willing to work with a gear head & try to explain what's going on. There is a local MINI Club, and this dealer WORKS with the club to make thing easier for a small club to function and provide it's members events, weather technical or social. Cheers1 More

They have been eager to find out what our needs were, and fullfill them. If they had been in business when we ordered our Mini, we would have bought it from them. More
