Hello, While we do our best to hold on to vehicles if a customer contacts us with interest in it, we cannot reserve a vehicle without a deposit as all of our vehicles are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. However, it's never our intention to make a customer feel like we are "baiting and switching" in a situation like this. Many of our vehicles never make it to our retail lot due to pre-orders or deposits being placed, but we do our best to find a comparable vehicle in our current inventory should that situation come up. In the event that the specific trim level that you inquired about is not available, sometimes that means stepping up to the next trim level of that vehicle which could result in a higher base price. In a perfect world, we wish we could deliver the exact and perfect vehicle all of our customers are interested in, but supply chain shortages keep this a difficult task. We encourage you to keep an eye on our inventory and if you find a vehicle that matches your needs and wants, to place a deposit on the vehicle to ensure you and your daughter get to drive it home.
