Work with Sarah I saw a lot of bad reviews and questioned myself about going there. I met with Sarah and she was friendly, said “I don’t know” to some of the question I saw a lot of bad reviews and questioned myself about going there. I met with Sarah and she was friendly, said “I don’t know” to some of the questions, and wasn’t pushy. Unfortunately my used car sold before I could buy it. I would for sure ask for her if you are shopping there!!! More

I asked for diagnosis on my transmission and my clutch. 4 months and over $3000 later they returned my truck in WORSE and UNSAFE condition. My transmission was not bolted in all the way and the wrong clutch was installed TWICE. They charged full price and refused to mediate the problem. I took them to court for a simple reimbursement no extra charge just paying me back for what they charged that did not work. They lied under oath saying they did nothing wrong which my other mechanic stated otherwise. More
Unwilling to stand by shoddy parts and work Had service done a little over a year ago to replace a clutch on my Jeep Wrangler. Warrantied 12 month, 12,000 miles. Less than 11,000 later it burns Had service done a little over a year ago to replace a clutch on my Jeep Wrangler. Warrantied 12 month, 12,000 miles. Less than 11,000 later it burns up just outside the 12 months and they were unwilling to do anything about it. They even used aftermarket parts in the replacement even, and not OEM, so I have no idea of the quality of what they put in. Previous clutch had lasted me over six times the distance and a decade more. I am the sole driver and have been since the car was bought NEW. I also have owned 2 previous manuals and not burnt a clutch out on them. There is no way I randomly changed driving habits to eat a NEW clutch. Person at seaside service department kept saying things like "well I've had a clutch last over 100k" like it was relevant to the conversation. If it wasn't on a the same year Jeep Wrangler, it doesn't matter. If you didn't have apparently shoddy 3rd rate after market parts put in, it doesn't matter. Then the GM said it shouldn't have even burnt out at 65k (when the previous one did). But BOTH kept saying its a wearable part and there is NOTHING they can do. PICK ONE. Either its supposed to last WELL OVER 11,000 MILES OR its a wearable part. From what they kept saying, sound like the former. I have only ever had dealerships work on my Jeep. I have been a loyal customer for 12 years now. I wasn't looking for full coverage, but some sort of "Well I guess we installed sup par parts, here is some partial reprieve for your troubles," on something that apparently should last me "100k" according to their man and lasted LESS THAN 1/5th THE LIFE OF THE OEM ORIGINAL. And since Seaside used aftermarket parts, you would think covering the cost of THOSE PARTS would be something the GM could do... but his "hands are tied" apparently. But instead I got a spiel about how there is nothing they can do and how someone can go out and burn up a clutch in a day, and it being wearable and how different people can wear them at different rates doing different things... But let me reiterate. Sole driver. Sole owner. Let me add- never offroad. Burnt out on the highway... when I wasn't shifting. Just popped out of gear and smoked up my car. SOOOO I fail to see how I could just burn a second clutch up. It was a bad part or bad install. But message received. Sell sometime in the next 10k miles before another clutch just dies on me and buy something 100% unrelated, because Seaside, and by extension Jeep as a whole, are neither willing nor able to stand by their service or products to any degree. Avoid this place like a plague. Apparently IT IS the plague for cars. More
Don't trust the salesman especially James B. I had just got off the phone with a dealer in Gilroy Ca. that made me an offer on a truck. I thought I would stop by Seaside Chrysler Dodge Jeep deale I had just got off the phone with a dealer in Gilroy Ca. that made me an offer on a truck. I thought I would stop by Seaside Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealer to see if they could match it. I was met by a man named James B. He asked me if he could meet or beat the price would I give him my buisness and I said yes. Then James proceed to shake my hand on the promise. We looked at vehicles for awhile and I found the one I wanted. He said again if I can meet or beat the Gilroy deal would he earn my buisness and again I said yes. We shook on it again then he shook hands with my wife. This happened one more time during our visit. We went inside and James had us fill out paperwork on his computer. ?? He then proceeded to talk with the Sales Manager. At this point we are getting tired due to the time we had been there. He finally came back and said he got the deal for us. After another hour we met with the Sales Manager. He had the paperwork ready and highlights and said to sign in the highlighted spots. We did got our truck and went home and to bed. The next day I looked at the paperwork and it wasn't anything like we talked about. We got ripped off. They did not come close to matching the deal I had made in Gilroy and James was a little rude on the phone when I called. They now want me to come in and discuss it which I am going to do. I will let everyone know the results when I get back on Saturday. So I did go back. Of course James was not available. Most likely hiding. I talked to a sales manager. I gave him my contract and told him my concerns. He said I signed the paperwork. I said I did but I had been there for several hours, no one else was in the dealer ship so it must be one of their practices to wear a person down before they sign. I told him about the deal that James made with me. He said yes but you signed the papers as he proceeded to calculate my discount with a calculator. I told him I did not have a calculator when I was in your office so how could I have figured out what you are doing right in front of me with a calculator. I told him I knew they would not do anything for me and told James that and did not want to come in but James wanted me to talk to a manager. So I did. After talking to him for a half hour he said there was nothing he could do. I told him that is what I though, I have talked to a auto fraud lawyer and will be in contact and will be posting on line daily about the lies, and fraudulent dealings I have had with Seaside Chrysler Dodge and Jeep. I showed him my lawyers paperwork and he said to wait and he would talk to the General Manager. He then came back and said I could talk to my lawyer and write my blogs. There is nothing they will do. So I left. Let this be a lesson to all people buying a new car. The dealer tries to keep you there as long as they can to wear you down. They want you tired when you are signing papers. Of everything I have read on this subject this has been an ongoing problem in the auto industry. They are out to make as much money as possible. So don't don't believe the buy local xxxxxxxxx and buy a vehicle where ever you can get the best price. No doubt Seaside Dodge Chrysler is not the place. My daughter found out by going to South County Dodge Jeep where she go a good deal. They lost me as a future customer and they will lose more because word of mouth helps and I will be talking. This is what the General Manager Milton Wood says. With over 10 years experience as a Certified Sales Manager and General Sales Manager with Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, my goal is to give everyone a great experience when visiting and purchasing from our Auto Group...Feel free to contact me. Sure Milton they talked to you before I left the dealership. They told me you would do nothing. More

And apparently they pulled off the complete inside of the doors ? Well when they returned the car to us from the first visit, we noticed a noise and they didn't fix everything that we paid for ? Their excuse was, "Guess I just didn't remember or hear you good enough " ? It was on the paperwork ! So we had to take it in a second time and pay another $100 deductible, for something they forgot ? Wow 😳 !!! Anyway, our drivers side door was making a clicking noise. So I mentioned it to them. They said, " it has to be from something else?" Nothing else has been done or wrong with the vehicle ! So we got the car back after the second time and about a week later, I opened my door and the door caught onto the front fender and bent it in ! So we took it back and they said that the manager said that we must of been in a accident ???? Really, I hope that we would know if we were in a accident ? Anyway, it's now sitting in front of the house and just rusting away. We bought a new Jeep 🚙 from a reputable dealership ! Not from these quacks ! More
