However, Travis gave my wife and I one of our best buying experiences of any kind. When we first went into Seaport Auto, we only had a vague idea of what we were looking for. We knew what we needed, but we didn’t know what we could fit in our budget and still accomplish all our objectives. Travis gave us straight and direct information and advice. He was very knowledgeable about all the trucks on the lot, and he passed up opportunities to sell us more than we needed to make sure that we got exactly what we wanted. I am extremely grateful for that. I consider the foregoing things to be the most important and laudable aspects of salesmanship. However, it is also true that Travis did all of the “little things” to make the experience enjoyable and efficient. He was very concerned about our time, and, while he answered all of our questions at length and in great detail, he did not waste time or make us wait. Travis is also a really friendly and easy-going person to deal with. I’m not usually intimidated by people, but if I ever were going to be, it would be in the position of buying a used vehicle. It’s easy for me to see that someone with a little fear and reluctance in that situation would be comfortable due to Travis’ pleasant and accommodating manner. All in all, I wish Travis the best, and I hope he can help other people like us in the same way. I’m sure he can. We will definitely find him again when it is time for us to purchase our next car. We have a 14 year-old daughter, and I would feel good sending her out in a car on Travis’ recommendation. If there is a way for people to respond to this review, I would be happy to discuss Travis and Seaport Auto further. More

Check Engine, not covered under warranty The check engine light on the 2014 Sonic that I bought came on within days of buying the vehicle. I also purchased the warranty, the salesman assured me during the sale that the warranty would cover most issues with the car. I brought it in and was told that the problem was not covered under warranty. Then another problem came up... it, too was not covered. I am asking DEQ to investigate because I suspect that the odb2 systems may have been spoofed to pass deq and then I am left with the cost of repairs after the check engine light came on which makes me feel that the warranty was not worth the several thousand dollars that it cost. Additionally, while discussing the issue with Chris, he rudely cut me off and hung up on me. Very poor customer service!!! More
