Rob was very friendly, and knowledgable. He was NEVER pushy and he was fun, which helped make the experience better. I talked to Kevin a couple of times last week and made an appt to meet with him or an associate at 2:00pm Sunday. I told him that I would be there about 3:00. He asked me what I needed (seemed to be in a real hurry to leave). I told him that I just wanted to shop and had my utility bill and check stubs. He said Oh, you have bad credit. I said yes but I just wanted to shop to find what I wanted. He said that’s not the way we do it. You need to bring the certificate to me and then we can determine what you are financed for. I told him I wanted a choice. I was told that’s not the way it works. The finance company picks the car you drive. I told him I had a 3000 dollar down payment (truth is, I can give a higher down payment). Again I was told that didn’t matter. I asked him about Roadloans and asked if there was opportunity to use another company besides Roadloans. I was told that there are the only finance company that would work with ‘my kind.’ It got heated. I really think his a jerk, but if that is really the way it is I don’t want it. I was told by Kevin that I would have choices, that I could shop, and there would be no pressure. I am calling Roadloans after I finish this email and talk to them about this and what my loan really is. They told me over the phone that I had a 27,000 line of credit to buy from 4 different dealers. I have also been shopping with other dealers that said they can get me into a car of my choice with the down payment. Guess what. At the other dealerships, the managers weren't jerks and his sales people were not high pressure. In addition, I plan on talking with the ownwer is possible. Having lived in the NH Seacoast my entire life, I've never visited Seacoast Mazda. After buying my first brand new car in 1984, I learned quickly, for me anyway, that buying a quality use car is the never visited Seacoast Mazda. Since 1988, after I paid off the new car I bought my first used car at a different dearler. Beyond that I 1988, Ive bought severel used cars at many other other dealers and I have to say, none of those experinces came close to my experance I've had over the past few day at Seacoast Mazda. On Friday, I visited Seacoast Mazda for the first time. Within 5 minutes, I found the car I was going buy. I went inside and made first contact with Rob. We discussed several loan options incluing a offer I recied in the mail from Capital One. I ronicly, when I told Rob about that offer, he smiled and said, 'Ever Thin Will Be OK'. He then told me is was the primary point of contact for the Capital One Offer. Rob gave me a list of document I would need to start the process. We then set an appointment for Yesterday. From the time I arrived, through driving off in the car I had chose, I was made to feal welcome and they made the entire purchase more like visiting friends. More
I am EXTREMELY pleased with the entire experience at Seacoast Mazda. They exceeded every one of my expectations. I have horrible credit and went from 20+ percent interest rate on my old car DOWN TO 5.9% interest on a BRAND NEW 2012 MAZDA 3! ANY issue I had, they helped me in every way....within the same hour! They are SUPER-FAST with getting you in and out. I felt like an individual, never like a customer among a bunch of others trying to get a car. They are very funny, respectful, approachable and they can get you financed even with rock bottom credit. I have been smiling for two days straight and I cannot say one bad thing about SEACOAST MAZDA. They have a great selection of Mazdas, but also other car brands too. I have bought/financed 5 cars in my life.....this being the absolute BEST experience so far. They are SO HONEST, and blow other car dealerships OUT OF THE WATER!!!!!! One word best describes our visit to Seacoast Mazda, and that word is awesome! My wife and I went there to test drive a CX-5 with our guard up for high pressure sales. Our past experience with new car dealers was somewhere between having a tooth pulled and being kicked. What a refreshing difference at Seacoast Mazda. Instead of dealing with a hard sell and being just another number in the sales quota, we were treated like we had come home. Everyone from our salesman Kevin, sales manager Bob, Rob in the finance department, to the owner Tim was extremely helpful and low key. No one made us feel pressured to buy either a car or any extras we didn’t want. It was clearly our choice what to do. We didn’t feel like we were being shuffled from office to office to get the sale done. We were allowed to take our time asking as many questions as we wanted with great informed and patient answers. We were even introduced to John in the service department, which was a first. He was also very informed and friendly. It was just a great experience overall that I would recommend to anyone. We bought the car for my wife, and she loves it. I know when I am in the market for my next car there is only one place I will be going, and that place is Seacoast Mazda. More
