The dealership in West Palm Beach had just fixed the same things. I made an appointment at Scranton Motors as it happened. I got in on Saturday and the appointment was on Monday. I explained the problem and said I thought it must be something more for the same thing to happen again so soon. They called me that afternoon that it was done. I left for Gettsysburg Pa 2 days later. On the trip to PA . the same thing happened again. I made an appointment at the Gettsysburg dealership, had to pay for a rental as they didn't have 1 available, and within an hour after they opened they called with the problem. There was a leak that dripped into the harness that was causing it. Apparently there was a memo sent out in January from GM about the problem. Well they had to keep my car for a couple of days and did come up with a loaner so I could return the rental, but they couldn't reimburse me for it. They were surprised that the other dealers didn't catch it as the repairs were done after the memo. Had Scranton Motors kept up with the service memos, it would have saved me the price of a rental, and the inconveniences of having to make the arrangements to get it in an fixed in a strange area, not to mention the potential harm it has done to my cars engine. . Unhappy I brought the truck in for trailer brake system issue. I was told it was my trailer was causing the issue over and over again. I was told dioelictric I brought the truck in for trailer brake system issue. I was told it was my trailer was causing the issue over and over again. I was told dioelictric grease will fix the issue. After few conversation with the service advisor, the connector was replaced. I had other work done as well, one was my last free oil service, with that service I should gotten a gallon of DEF, which I didn’t even get, when it was time came to pick up the truck the warning light was one for less then 150 miles remain. I also requested to get mud flaps installed. On your website it stated it was flat fee for install, but when I got the phone call I was told it was couple hours charge for labor, which at this point your website was misleading on the labor charge. We have another 3500 HD Denali in the fleet which we got flaps installed couple months before this one was only charged less then $90 for the labor. Not sure where then confusion came from with price install. Either way after couple phone calls with my advisor I got quoted the right price and then installed. At this point at your dealership picking up the truck- I found the trailer connector had no grease installed..which your advisor and tech said that it was all it needed. Waited for a tech to install the grease and DEF. I went back to my shop hooked 4 trailers to the vehicle same issue. As soon as you connected the trailer to the truck and tongue weight was added the message would pop up again. I was so frustread with this I called Balise in Springfield- stopped by the shop, in 15 minutes the tech ran the fault code, found faults in the system, and was diagnosed as a faulty control unit. In less then 15 mins.......which it took your dealership almost weeks to tell me it was missing grease. I have a appointment next week to drop the vehicle off to get it repaired. I am very disappointed with the service at your shop. My first visit I picked up my truck with massive amount of finger prints on the headliner, which your advisor was embarrassed about he ended up cleaning the headliner in the service drive for me. Sam was a good person and meant no harm, it was just a shame he was being misled by your teaching on the diagnoses of the vehicle and labor charge of the mud flaps. On top off all this the other truck in our line up still has same issues it was dropped off for, after replacing the tires and having the vehicle for weeks. More
