I was willing By far, this was the worst car buying experience I've ever come across. I highly regret purchasing my vehicle from Scranton Motors. I was willing to pay their full asking price. When talking with the Sales guy and Finance lady, they kept telling me that the $185 VIN etching is REQUIRED and the ridiculous $599.99 dealer fee was NON-NEGOTIABLE. They were not willing to budge on any price, what-so-ever. But on the document to be signed, it says VIN etching is OPTIONAL, and the dealer fee is NEGOTIABLE. I felt lied to. The finance lady told me I need to "let the debt settle" for 4 months before paying it off. And then told me 6.5% was the best APR they could get me. These were both lies. I ended up refinancing the next month at 2.75% with a different bank, because I have an 800 credit score. When I came to pick up the vehicle the next day after getting all the paperwork done, they wanted me to pay $20 to put a temporary plate on the vehicle. The vehicle was also dirty. Not fully vacuumed. Not to mention, I then discovered a huge dent in the side of the vehicle, about the size of a soccer ball. They wanted me to give them $400 to fix it. After spending hours arguing, they finally "Tried" to fix it for free, but only took 10% of the dent out. After a few weeks of driving the vehicle, it had engine misfires. I took it back to get it fixed, but the same problem occurred. So I took it back again, and they said they weren't able to reproduce it. After driving it home, the engine would misfire. I ended up selling the vehicle, and lost a bunch of money. I should have seen all the RED FLAGS. I will NEVER deal with Scranton Motors again. I am extremely unhappy with this dealership. They need to treat their customers better or they WILL GO OUT OF BUSINESS. More

It turns out the car needed a software update. My car is always fixed right the first time and returned clean. Scranton is fortunate to have good service writers and technicians who really know GM cars. More
