The intrest rate changed, monthly payment changed, and I was told I had to purchase gap insurance. Gap is optional. The vehicle was never cleaned or detailed. 2 weeks before the temporary registration was about to expire and we had not received anything from the state, my wife called Scranton Dodge, she was told there was a problem and we would have to come in to sign more papers. They didnot know why they didnot contact us with the problem they just didn't. With 2 days till the end of the month we received a call from Scranton Dodge that we needed to come in to sign more papers. This is when I called the owner and told him I didnot feel they did anything in this transaction to deserve any money off of my wife and I because of how badly we we treated. After 3 time to do the paperwork correctly and they still got the address wrong then lied about the procedure. The resolution I offered to Dave Pompey was to bill me for any mileage we put on the car, and since it still wasn't registered to me they could just take the car back, we would just move on. They refused to even look into that solution instead offered to remove the gap insurance and clean the car for us. At that point I warned him of the fact I was going to post bad reveiws of the dealership and he accused me off blackmail to get my way. I would not recomend this dealership to anyone. More
I made an appointment on Saturday afternoon to look at a SUV on Monday morning. I arrived on Monday to see the unit, but it was not on the lot. I checked with the salesman who checked with the sales manager SUV on Monday morning. I arrived on Monday to see the unit, but it was not on the lot. I checked with the salesman who checked with the sales manager only to find out the unit was wholesaled that morning. I gave the salesman my cell number but he did not call. I drove over an hour to see this unit the least they could have done was called. I called the sales manager later in the day to discuss the problem but as expected he said that he wasn't going to wait when there was a check in house. The least he could have done was offer to send me a gas card or something. No remorse from the sales manager. More
I agree with the other reviewer. Will usually get the job done, but don't expect them to give a crap about you or your vehicle, and make you feel like that too. Just like the other reviewer, I had a job done, but don't expect them to give a crap about you or your vehicle, and make you feel like that too. Just like the other reviewer, I had a problem with my vehicle within 6 months of purchase. After bringing the problem to their attention, they could not reproduce the problem. I let it go because it was intermittent (which in hindsight was a mistake) and put up with the problem for the next few years. Finally after I was disgusted with it, I took it back, and low and behold they found the problem. Only NOW it was out of warranty. I brought it to their attention that I had this exact complaint while it was under warranty (and supplied paperwork to this effect), and it should be covered. They refused and charged me $250.00. Only after calling Chrysler and writing them a complaint with paperwork did I receive satisfaction. I can't say that I would recommend this dealership because to find out how much they actually care you only have to visit their service department a few times. They're out to make money and that's it. They couldn't care less about you or your vehicle. They actually have the nerve to point out they're a 5 star dealer. Yeah, maybe 5 stars out of 50. More
started out rude. can't really describe it. but the conversation went like this: "hi this is david one of my employees just brought in my dodge sprinter" "buddy i've got two sprinters which one i conversation went like this: "hi this is david one of my employees just brought in my dodge sprinter" "buddy i've got two sprinters which one is it" he said very gruffly. like i was being a pain in the xxx by even calling. the background noise in the shop was very loud, including tools and loud music playing. he kept saying "what" and "you've got to speak up" like it was my fault that he was it wasn't quiet there. finally when i had the gall to challenge whether it was a warranty repair, the guy got more irate, he passed me to who his service manager, who was equally snide. "is it bathed in oil?" he snarled at me. "i don't know" i replied. "well it's not". like i was an idiot for not understanding this. apparrantly if it's not "bathed in oil" it's not considered part of the engine warranty. (long story after talking to chrysler customer service this is not necessarily true-so don't take this as an answer). i decided to call chrysler customer service. during this process they called the service department two or three times. these guys got really angry. the customer service person at chrysler told me they were angry. because chrysler was willing to pay for the repair. i walked away from this experience worried that these guys were mad enough to do something to my van. it was a very unsettling and unpleasant experience. i encourage you to look for another place to have your vehicle repaired.
