Hi, I am very sorry we did not meet your expectations. Unfortunately, whenever an out-of-state transaction occurs we have to execute registration through Reg USA or CVR. These companies have passed Penn DOT licensing protocols and as a licensed dealer we must maintain logins and certifications to utilize the sites. Both of our registered users were off this past Saturday on vacation. As for Josh I must apologize for his lack of professionalism. I just sat with him and reviewed this particular event and how it should have been handled. He did not prepare for your visit - plain and simple. And he should have. Josh is very new to our sales force and his inexperience showed and caused you to have a very poor experience. Please trust that we DO NOT condone this type of behavior and apologize for it. I wish I could rewind the clock because your distance away from our store makes it impossible for us to remedy our failed behavior. Scranton Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM sells thousands of cars every year and services several thousand more all while delivering outstanding customer experiences. Dear Mr. Pompey, Thank you so very much for your response. You have renewed my faith in humanity a bit today. I truly did not think anyone would respond to me. Seems like in this day and age customer service has completely gone by the wayside. I want you to know that I don't make the habit of complaining or writing bad reviews online, but I was truly flabbergasted by the way Josh acted with us. There was even more to the story as far as more rudeness that came from Josh that I didn't mention. I didn't feel the need to go into it all as I truly didn't think anyone would get back to me. I just did not want anyone to have the same experience that we did and I know the effect that one bad review can have on a business. From the looks of it, not just on here, but I have seen lots of bad reviews on other websites about Scranton Dodge and that is so unfortunate. My husband was born in Scranton and just loves that town. He was just so very sad that we couldn't buy a car there. He talked about how that dealership has been there forever and he and his father just love cars and have been a Mopar family forever so he was just so excited to buy a car there. It broke his heart a little bit to not be able to buy a car with you. We also had our Jeep in service there last week. Bryan in service was very nice. We met him on Saturday. I have to say that the communication with customers from the service department is also lacking. It took 2-3 phone calls and an email to get anyone to call us and let us know the status of our Jeep. I understand we are all busy, but a quick phone call or email can make all the difference. Susan in internet sales was also very nice. She got back to me everytime to answer my questions. We have been in contact with someone at the dealer starting early last week. If they knew no one would be there to do the licensing on the weekend all they had to do was let us know. We could have adjusted our schedule and come in before the weekend. It was all so unfortunate and could have been avoided. We were so interested in the violet 2018 Durango. I love purple cars and we had done a large search around our area here in TN and there were none in the southeast. Could only find one in the northeast. In any case, we stopped at another dealer in Virginia on our way home and purchased a Durango. We truly wish we could have gotten it with you instead.
