From the minute I walked into the dealership until I left, There was great customer service by my side.. I can proudly say there wasn't one moment I had a negative thought. Phillip Brown was a great help to my visit recently. He made sure to answer any questions I had & he was sure to go out of his way to make my experience enjoyable. I left the dealership with a smile. My vehicle was there for warranty work due to serious mechanical damage and I can truly say they put the customer first and did everything in their power to accomodate me throughout the duration of the repairs. They maintained excellent communication throughout the entire time my vehicle was there and provided the best level of customer care anyone could ask for. From the moment I arrived until everything was complete I was continuously pleased with their customer service. Tammy Davis was the service employee I dealt with on a daily basis and I cannot say enough good things about her performance. The quality of work performed on my vehicle was also very high and there were zero issues with my car despite the extensive work that was performed. I trust Scranton Chevrolet and would highly recommend anyone to service their vehicle there. More

But being in sales myself I did want to take a minute to recognize one Bit of an oddball review as I ended up not purchasing a vehicle from Scranton. But being in sales myself I did want to take a minute to recognize one of their employees, Bill Buswell. I'm from PA and found a vehicle on their site I was interested in. A few photos online weren't clear and I had several questions about the car. I called in and spoke with Bill and within 15 minutes all my questions were answered and I had over a dozen photos texted to me that detailed my areas of concern. While this particular car didn't end up being the right car for me, I would not hesitate to do business with Scranton and more specifically with Bill. He has a low pressure sales approach paired with a genuine willingness to help that can't be faked. Also he takes a no as gracefully as a yes! Thanks again for your help Bill. More
Started as 5 star ended as 1 star I went shopping for a new truck in the rain. Out of 7 dealerships 3 came out to help me of those 1 tried to sell me the exact opposite of what I was l I went shopping for a new truck in the rain. Out of 7 dealerships 3 came out to help me of those 1 tried to sell me the exact opposite of what I was looking for. Liz listened and showed me exactly what I was looking for. With help from Bill she showed me each and every feature of my new truck. Great teamwork, Excellent Job. Now the rest of the story. Service after the sale. When we purchased the truck I noticed the warning light for tire pressure was on and asked the sales person the have the tires aired up. What they did was put enough air in one tire to clear the alarm, all 4 tires were low and indicated need air on the drivers display. LAZY or an indication of how this dealership does business. They didn't bother to do normal dealer prep or clean the truck prior to delivery, I had to complain to one on the managers to get what most dealerships do as a matter of course. Seems like cleaning the glue from the sticker, removing plastic protective film, etc are too much work for this dealership. When I purchased my NEW truck part of the sales contract was the addition of a folding tonneau cover. When I brought the truck back to fix the deep gouges in the windshield that we found on delivery, I was told the tonneau cover would not fit, but they had another one that would. Next I was told the new cover would not fit either, so they would refund my money for the cover. I called after a week and was told the check has been mailed. Now 2 weeks later and no check the managers are always in meetings or with clients (I guess 50K on a new turck dosen't make me a client) when I try to find the status of my refund. I was willing the let the delivery problems go, but the dealership trying to cheat me out of over 1000 dollars is too much. What started out as a good experience has been destroyed by deceptive business practices. After 2 weeks of calls and getting the runaround I recieved part of the refund. I was charged tax on the cover ($77.11 in tax) but the refund did not include the tax. Just another example of a dealership you can't trust. I have sent a complain the the state of CT DMV. Hopefully they will be able to fine this dealership. I as still waiting on a call back from the owner. More
