LONG TIME VW OWNER DISAPPOINTED WITH SERVICE FROM SCOTT my husband and I have owned 7 VW betweens us, my last 2 purchased from scott vw with the last being a high end sports car that we paid sticker for. Suffice to say we always care for our cars to spec, always at a dealership to protect our investment. The past few visits to Scott have been horrible and just ended with a conversation with the owner in which he called us the liars (we have physical proof that they lied, by saying they did something when paperwork clearly shows otherwise) and him telling us we were disrespectful and told us not to return. This is not how you deal with long time customers. I will be telling everyone via social media, car shows and friends and family that own VW's to go where their concerns, and actual issues are dealt with transparency and honesty. More

Worst Service experience of my life The people at this dealership in the service department are completely incompetent. I had to deal with Kim Lexner, which was a nightmare. Then the gen The people at this dealership in the service department are completely incompetent. I had to deal with Kim Lexner, which was a nightmare. Then the general manager was even worse. My wife bought her tires from the Volkswagen dealership in Florida with a road hazard plan. One of the tires got a gouge in it while we were in Rhode Island. I called Scott Volkswagen to let them know and they were very unhelpful from the get-go. Kim Lexnner told me there was nothing they could do. I called the dealership in Florida who said that was the most absurd thing they had ever heard. They faxed over the paperwork to the dealership in RI. Kim tried to backtrack her words. Scott Volkswagen ended up putting a patch on the tire and then claiming that they cannot do anything else. Then after the patch was put on I was on the phone with the road hazard people in front of Kim so she could hear. Again she tried to recant her words. The road hazard people said they would have replaced the tire, but due to the incompetence of this dealership now I have to have a patch Tire. I have never been so unhappy with service in my life. Do not take your car to this dealership, they are incompetent. They wanted to get away with not having to do the work, and they played games over a 3 week period. The general manager called me and got in an argument with me, very unprofessional. In the end they stated they could not do anything. I will be taking this up through VW Corporate and my Lawyer. Never dealt with anybody like this in my life. Save youself a headache DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! More

After reaching out to a few managers, (Brian and James) the team went ABOVE and BEYOND to make the situation right. I thoroughly respect that. Everyone in the service team did a great job as well. Stay away. Terrible, by far the worst experience I have ever had buying a new car! They transferred my plates from the car I was driving that I didn't trade in. Only reason they had the info was for the owner loyalty rebate. Then they were in no rush to fix the problem. Took them 3 days to re register my other car. Plus I got screwed on the price in which I was lied to so they could complete the sale. Normally I do my research and shop around but was unable to due to my current work schedule. I have bought plenty of new cars in the past and have never had issues like this. Stay away. More
Honest Service Department I want to thank Kim in the service department at Scott Volkswagen. I heard a strange noise coming from my 2015 Passat. She made a suggestion to me, wh I want to thank Kim in the service department at Scott Volkswagen. I heard a strange noise coming from my 2015 Passat. She made a suggestion to me, which ultimately I was able to quickly and easily fix the issue myself. Because Kim was so HONEST over the phone, it saved having me to rent a car and pay for labor for a non-warranty problem. Most service departments elsewhere more than likely would have just told me to drop my car off and happily bill me. Thanks Kim for being an honest service department professional and this is one of the reasons why my family will continue shop at Scott Volkswagen!!! One Very Happy Customer, Ken More

This past week I purchased my first vehicle in almost a decade from Russell "Russ" Santelises of Scott Volkswagen. Having been to 15+ dealerships in the surrounding area over the past month, I had grown accustomed to the same scripted conversation and barrage of lies from the various salespeople/managers. But at Scott, that experience was DIFFERENT. Russ was very strait-forward, extremely honest, ETHICAL, and by far the greatest possible person to buy a vehicle from. 100% without a doubt will return in the future, and will be sure to let everyone know just who to ask for. My salesman was John and he had me into a brand new Jetta in barely no time at all. The whole process was completely painless. I was expecting to get a used car and I got a brand new one. All of the staff there is very nice and helpful. I have never been to a dealership that I was treated so well. The facility is absolutely gorgeous with their vintage Volkswagens and the way the showroom is decorated. I'm a Scott customer for life now! More
