Overheated, but Keep Calm and Carry On On my way to DTLA on Thursday when my 2005 Dodge began to overheat. The smell of something funky burning [leaking coolant] and smoke [actually steam] was noticeable from under the hood when stopped for traffic signals. I opted to skip Jury Duty and face the consequences later and headed back home. I decided to give nearby Scott Robinson a try and brought it there to be serviced. Norma Espinosa, Service Advisor was a delight to work with and had a calming effect. Although the job took more than a day to repair, due to scheduling, she kept me informed with status updates. In case anyone is wondering, I was fortunate to have my jury service transferred to Torrance and didn't lose credit for time already served. But, I had to report in-person at the courthouse on Friday morning. Norma saved me from walking over a mile by offering their complimentary, Courtesy Shuttle Ride. And, when my vehicle was ready for pick-up, I received a discount as well. I would definitely consider Scott Robinson CDJR for vehicle service in the future. Thank you Norma for looking out for me.
