I scheduled maintenance on my Jeep online for 10/31, then went to the service desk to get an estimate for 30k maintenance. I’m not aware of services required except for the oil change and tire rotations. Y went to the service desk to get an estimate for 30k maintenance. I’m not aware of services required except for the oil change and tire rotations. Yolanda informed me of the services required at 30k miles. I was surprised that there were so many but agreed to do what was necessary to keep my vehicle in warranty. Apparently, she wasn’t aware but did mention that the mechanic would verify if everything was necessary to do. My transmission maintenance wasn’t necessary, but I’m not sure why. The manual says my cooling system didn’t need to be maintained until 150k mileage, but it was flushed, filled and treated. So, I paid quite a lot more than anticipated and didn’t understand if these maintenance were really required at this time. You could provide a check list since my Jeep is exclusively from Scott Robinson sales/service. The Jeep is monitored with a monthly diagnostics check. So, none of these items were listed as due either. I’m glad it was done in all, just didn’t know if necessary to do at 29665 miles. Also, still I’m not sure if there is another maintenance more pertinent that may have not been done. Please let me know if I need to do anything else. I’d appreciate it! Thank you, Shelly More
Pluses: Anthony was very easy to work with. He was able to match price on car I wanted with my Internet searches. I bought a Dodge Challenger because I really enjoyed the one Enterprise rented to me instead if an economy car. The finance guy was very straight forward and made certain I understood everything. He came very close to matching my Credit Union, but only because Credit Union gave me better rate based on what dealership offered me. When I picked up the car, Anthony showed me many features that I may have never discovered on my own. He never acted like he was in a rush and was super nice. He drove my other car home for me and I drive him back. We had a very nice chat on way. Minuses: Car that I wanted was not on lot and estimated time of arrival varied from within the hour and ended up being the next afternoon. That was not huge deal, I never really understood why the estimated time kept changing. When I did pick it up, it was all bright and shiny and displayed right outside the main entry. I was never told the car does not come with spare tire nor a jack, even though both these items are in owner’s manual with no mention of them being an “option” There is a place where a tire would go in my car, but it is empty. Apparently, none of the 2019 Challengers come with a spare tire and you can’t even buy one. Instead, there is an air compressor that comes with car to keep a damaged tire inflated. My concern is that it is possible for a tire to be damaged enough that this would not work. A manager us going to investigate to see if there is an after market tire and jack available. It is hard to imagine I am first one with this concern. Oh, and I was told they had stopped including spare tires so that drivers would experience better gas mileage. Um, I could take tire and jack out of the car myself if I thought it was worth improving the gas mileage for. More
