I bought my 2017 Jeep at Scott Robinson Jeep that included a Guidepoint Mopar EVTS Vehicle tracking system. Guidepoint informed me that I had to get an upgrade from 3G to 5G and to have a mechanic included a Guidepoint Mopar EVTS Vehicle tracking system. Guidepoint informed me that I had to get an upgrade from 3G to 5G and to have a mechanic do the installation. I called Scott Robinson Jeep dealership for a quote on the installation. A receptionist forwarded my call to “customer service” and no one anns so I left a voice message asking for a quote. NO ONE returned my call. I decided to go ahead and make an appointment with SR’s service department as I thought I’d have more luck with a “certified mechanic”. After agreeing to pay $240 (yikes!) to have the upgraded Guidepoint EVTS installed -plus waiting an hour for this installation on account that the installation is “time consuming”- one would think this installation would be successful. It wasn’t. I tried contacting Guidepoint utilizing the emergency call button and nothing happened. I then called Guidepoint directly and they said they never received my calls. It was time consuming and troublesome trying to troubleshoot the problem with their customer service and their technicians. Their technician suggested I return my Jeep to the dealership and have this system installed properly. Prior to making this 2nd appointment, I called SR and asked to speak to Cesar to let him know of the problem. He never returned my voice message. I went ahead and made another appointment for the following week at 9:15 a.m. I waited over 1/2 hour as there was only one service representative checking in two lines of cars. It turned out that SR’s mechanic took a shortcut on installation of the EVTS components. Instead of replacing the emergency call button on the dashboard, -where it was originally visible, the call button was installed underneath the steering column. The old button was never replaced with the new button (I was using the old button to call Guidepoint). I told the mechanic that I wanted the call button place where it was originally located and not at some area where I would have to hunt for it in case of a real emergency. The technician seemed annoyed and said he would have to remove the panel of the dashboard and it would take him 20 minutes to fix it. Of course, I waited another hour for this 20 minute fix. Fortunately I’m retired. Imagine if I (you) didn’t have an understanding boss for taking so much time off work. Scott Robinson REALLY needs to make improvements to their so called customer service. All this is unacceptable! Now, after writing this survey should I be concerned about any retaliation? I’ve have better luck with Per Boys and will now be going there for basic maintenance. They demonstrate better service and attitudes. A word of advice to the unexpected: instead of being suckered into spending close to $1,000 for upgrades and installation for a Mopar vehicle GPS tracker, buy one from Amazon. Had I only knew… More

Absolute worse dealership I’ve ever dealt with ! I recently bought a brand new car in December 2022 . A month after owing the car I get a check engine light /and traction control light .This is a br I recently bought a brand new car in December 2022 . A month after owing the car I get a check engine light /and traction control light .This is a brand new vehicle and shouldn’t be happening .I had made an appointment with the service department.I sat at the dealership for 5 hours just for them to tell me I need to bring the back and had to order parts .I told them that I work nights and it’s hard for me to keep bringing the car in for service ! I brought the car back a week later and was told they had the parts needed to make the repairs ! 3hours later I was told that they didn’t send all the parts needed to fix my car .made another appointment bright the car in and was told that I had to leave the car and that it would take 3-4 days to make the repairs ! Picked up the car and 2 weeks after the repairs I get a check engine light and traction control light . I was furious and called the dealership to bring the car in and was told they didn’t have any openings until next week . I explained that I just had the car in for repairs and needed to bring the car in . Buy the time I got to the dealership and spoke to the service manager I cursed him out because I was fed up with constant having to bring my car back . They refused to work on the car I said fine . I’m filing a lawsuit against the dealership under the Lemon law .I wouldn’t recommend anyone to deal with these people ! Once you buy a car from Scott Robinson they don’t care about you or your car . He and his team along with Amar Nakami the Sales Manager who helped us get our monthly lease payments to where we were comfortable. Steve Ponser the finance manager was very kind and patient as well as diligent in helping put together this deal on probably the most amazing vehicle I have ever owned.
