We were very disappointed in our experience with Scott Kia. It all started out good when we arrived on 2/24/24 to check out two Tellurides they had on their lot. We found out from Vinny, the salesperson, Kia. It all started out good when we arrived on 2/24/24 to check out two Tellurides they had on their lot. We found out from Vinny, the salesperson, that the black one had been taken home for the weekend by Steve, the manager, but the blue one was on the lot. It had a sold sticker on the front windshield. We were told it wasn't sold but available if we wanted to purchase it. After some discussion and checking with incoming Tellurides we put a $1000 deposit on a brand new one coming in around March 9th. If we weren't satisfied with the Telluride our $1000 would be refunded or the money could go towards the purchase of the car. After looking for a few months at the different models and trim levels we were 99 % sure the car would be perfect. We were given a purchase agreement to share with our bank to receive a loan. A few texts on 2/26 back and forth with Vinny to verify insurance and banking information then we were ghosted. In over two weeks we didn't hear anything from Scott Kia. As March 9th approached we were getting very excited about a new car purchase. All our paperwork and bank approval was completed. We checked the Scott Kia website and it stated that the Telluride we had put a deposit on was on the lot in Springfield. The same VIN number as our purchase agreement paperwork. On March 9th we texted and emailed Vinny. On March 11th we emailed Steve. Nothing. Finally on March 14th we received a text from Vinny that he was on vacation for two weeks and would check on the vehicle once he arrived at work. The next text was to let us know the Telluride had been traded to another KIA dealership? What? How does this happen? We were in total disbelief. Vinny did finally call to say they could maybe trade another dealership for the same Telluride. At this point we were totally distrustful of Scott Kia, nobody had contacted us for over two weeks. We weren't even given the courtesy of a phone call to let us know the car had been traded. Bizarre, disrespectful, and unacceptable behavior from this dealership. We would never even consider buying or referring anyone to Scott Kia after our experience. More
They sold a car out from under me after i put down $1000. It was arriving to dealership 3/9, so i called that day. I texted and email the dealership but no one replied. Week later the salesman "got back from vacation" and informed me the car had been sent to another dealership. So I would caution anyone using them to buy your car. Untrustworthy. More

Price more than told over phone. Wait time twice as long. Were 8 $ short at check out had to wait for family member to bring that amount. Could have billed us. Bought car there.
