I have a 2009 Accord. Its have creaking/retelling sound in the moon roof. The car has been three times and has not been fixed. On one trip they had the car for a full week. They’re great at changing the in the moon roof. The car has been three times and has not been fixed. On one trip they had the car for a full week. They’re great at changing the oil and rotating the tire; but, if its not basic service call forget it. I really don't know that I would recommend them for service. More
The reason I gave a 3 for customer service is because of your Enterprise Rent a Car offer. After the last time, I will never use it again. I believe your company needs to have a serious talk with their co your Enterprise Rent a Car offer. After the last time, I will never use it again. I believe your company needs to have a serious talk with their company. I rented a car for the day from them and returned it, and thought there was nothing wrong. Well when I got home I received a call stating that the windshield was chipped and I was going to have to pay to replace it. I agreed to this and asked them to send me a receipt when the work was finished. About two weeks went by and I never received a receipt or a call. So I called them and asked where my receipt was and they couldn't give me an answer and told me they would call me back. Another week went by and still no feedback from them. I decided to take it to their corporate office and they informed me that nothing was charged to them, it was a repair that was free of charge and refunded my money. The problem I have is if I didn't continue to ask for a receipt, I would have never gotten my money back and would have been ripped off for $40.00. I hope this will put some consideration into having some kind of ethics talk with them. I think your company is great, but I don't want your image damaged by an outside company that is a service you offer. Thanks Sean McCarthy (sdm5782@gmail.com) More
Go somewhere else. I had a check engine light, code and diagnosis from my trusted mechanic(not this dealership). He recommended I go to a Honda dealership for service because the problem was addressed in diagnosis from my trusted mechanic(not this dealership). He recommended I go to a Honda dealership for service because the problem was addressed in a Honda Service Bulletin. I contacted the dealership to ask, and the operator could only schedule an appointment, not address my question. I scheduled an appt for the purpose of checking the Honda Odyssey for recalls and service bulletins. I gave the customer service rep the check engine code and its meaning. Fred Alvisi called me to say I needed such and such and it would cost $480. I had to ask whether it was covered by a service bulletin, which was the purpose of my visit. He said no, and then proceeded to open the standard scare tactic about timing belts. I declined everything. He then said there was a diagnosis charge, even though I presented the diagnosis when I presented the vehicle. So, I said, "you are calling me a liar, because I presented this info when I dropped the van". I challenged the charge when I picked up the vehicle, and the response was to call another large customer service rep and declare that they had to use 2 technicians to read the code that I had provided, and that was justification for the charge. An hour later, I checked all the parents at my daughters softball game and sure enough, I got reports of bad experiences with this dealership. In fact, the other parents also own a Honda and a Toyota, and are reporting markedly worse experience with Honda in our region of Pennsylvania. Stay away from these people at Scott Honda. Honda is generally a good product, but a predatory service is enough to put me off. We have a Honda and a Toyota in our driveway, and so do the other parents at the softball game. Honda, you have a problem dealer. More
I'm done with Scott Honda. Where to start? I've had several problems with the service department. I took my car in to get routine service. They rotated my tires. When I got my car back the car sever several problems with the service department. I took my car in to get routine service. They rotated my tires. When I got my car back the car severely pulled to the left. I brought the car back told them my car did not pull before I brought it in. They said they would take care of it right away. They fixed the problem but charged me $90. The service guy (Ed) said they had to re-rotate the tires and that I was responsible for the bill. Total BS. Today I brought in my car for an oil change. They said I was due for a routine service. I agreed and mentioned that I recently received a coupon in the mail for a discount on my next service. He looked at me strange as if he didn't know what I was taking about. COME ON, they were the one who sent me the promotion. Don't you think their employees know what their promotions are???? He said he would give me 10% off the service. When I got home I found the coupon and it was for 15% off. WHAT A SCAM ARTIST. Another time I took my car in because the check engine light had come on. They told me I needed a new transmission and that it would cost $3700. I took my car to a non-dealer and was charged $1500. They are way overpriced. More
Well, the guys in the shop (except for Ed - service manager, I think) are great! The do good work. BUT I am a former customer due to a HEATED run in with Ed. Ed is one of those car guys that makes y manager, I think) are great! The do good work. BUT I am a former customer due to a HEATED run in with Ed. Ed is one of those car guys that makes you feel like "You're a woman, so to explain a car thing is futile." I HATE BEING TREATED LIKE A DUMB CHICK! UGH!!! Also, I never recieved a follow up call for a customer service check from Honda. This always happened before the run in. It makes me thing that Ed/Management weeds out those customers that had difficulties with the staff before passing customer names on for the Honda follow up call. Guess that is one way to get the President's Award for Excellence - just let them talk to the people you don't screw over. So, call Honda Corporate directly and complain. Also, go else where. I now LOVE Firestone in Exton!! More
Parts VERY over-priced. How can another repair shop call the same dealership and give me a quote 20% lower for a part? I understand that they have to pay for an on site daycare center but the markup on p the same dealership and give me a quote 20% lower for a part? I understand that they have to pay for an on site daycare center but the markup on parts is ridiculous. My bill came to $368 compared to $268 quote at Firestone and that is after I bargained with them. They reduced the cost on one part but jacked up the price on another part that they recommended I replace (so I didn't have a quote to bargain with). That is not satisfactory. Customers, do you research BEFORE you get there. All the best. More
This dealership is overpriced and a little bit sneaky. I have several friends who are Honda owners, and we always feel like Scott is constantly trying to sneak in extra repairs or service or upsell its owne have several friends who are Honda owners, and we always feel like Scott is constantly trying to sneak in extra repairs or service or upsell its owners. I have gotten second opinions after getting quotes from Scott, and Scott is routinely overpriced, as well as offering service that is unnecessary. I once was told by them that my passenger side window was "broken", only to discover that when I had it replaced, the window was completely intact and untarnished in my trunk when I drove my car off the lot. Lord help you if you live in southern PA and this is the only Honda dealership around. Be prepared to pay through the teeth, or instead consider driving your car down to Delaware to Winner or Union Park. Scott Honda will eat up every last penny in your checkbook. More
