Their service department isn’t very professional nor are they very knowledgeable their jeeps. I took my Jeep there because it was running warm on the highway. Around town it was driving perfect the service they very knowledgeable their jeeps. I took my Jeep there because it was running warm on the highway. Around town it was driving perfect the service department advised me to leave it and they would check it out and give me a call. I had to call several times during the day to find out if they knew what was causing my jeep to run close to hot they explained that everything looked fine and they did not really know what was wrong, but they would keep it overnight and let me know in the morning what was wrong, I received a call the next morning and was told they would have to take the engine apart for about $1200 for labor and they would let me know what the issue was. My husband advised them we would come get the jeep and not to work on it , we arrived 15 minutes later to pick up my jeep. As I drove out of the parking lot, my jeep was running hot because something had been done to it. I asked the service department what happened and they said it was going to happen anyway, I was able to drive my car around town without a problem it was only on the highway. I was having an issue, they were very rude when I explain to them that the jeep was not running like this when I dropped it off once I left I contacted the manager of Scott Evan and spoke to John and explain to him how very unhappy I was I paid $175 for my car to run worse and still did not get fixed or Know what the reason for the cars was. John said that he was speak with his service manager and call me back in 15 minutes. I never heard back from any of them. I called back two hours later and asked to speak to John and was told he was unavailable. I left a voice message and never received a call back , it is now 10 hours later and I never received a call back I was told that this dealer was family owned, and it was not a corporate dealership. I would suggest no one ever ever buy a jeep or take their car to get service there. Do in my conversation. When I realize my jeep was tampered with I asked the young man that was working on it. What did he do? He was very rude disrespectful and didn’t understand why I would be upset since my jeep was now running worse than it was when I brought it in. I was asked by the manager what can he do to help? I advise I would like to have my jeep fixed and running so I can go to work in Atlanta. He asked how many miles I had and maybe I should buy a new Jeep. I advised him I like my jeep and I do not want to purchase another jeep when my jeep it’s paid off and it was running fine except on the highway, I find this very very disheartening to realize that we have a dealership and I’ll city that is willing to do whatever it takes to wrong someone and not want to make it right please stay away from places that does not value you as a customer or your personal belongings More
****AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP / SERVICE DEPARTMENT COMLETELY**** Purchased a 2012 Jeep Wrangler from Scott Evans Dodge along with the extended warranty (Which included the cooling system). The vehicl COMLETELY**** Purchased a 2012 Jeep Wrangler from Scott Evans Dodge along with the extended warranty (Which included the cooling system). The vehicle has been in the shop 5 times in the first month after I bought it. I haven't even made the first payment on the vehicle. Two of the times in their shop for the same reason because they just put a bandaid on the problem, which caused me and my 8yr old grand daughter to be stranded. The final time was because the vehicle was trying to run hot while driving at highway speed. When sitting still the cooling fans were took over and dropped the temperature back down to normal. The vehicle was taken to them and they "diagnosed" the issue as the cooling fans. The very same fans that would cool the temperature down when sitting still or driving below 50 mph. They informed me that they were contacting the warranty company. Today - they tell me that the fans are not covered under the warranty and require $1100+ to "fix" the issue. I asked if they checked the thermostat because all signs prior to me bringing to them pointed to that being the issue, the response was that they didn't check anything else that because the fans didn't work?? So their solution was for me to pay $1100 to fix something that was working when I left it with them and they couldn't say if that was the fix for the original problem. They charged me $165 fee to diagnose something when their diagnosis was something that wasn't broke two days ago when I left it with them. So bottom line - Don't buy a vehicle from them, Don't buy the warranty, ***STAY AWAY FROM THEM*** I had one conversation with a mechanic that stated that a few months ago ALL mechanics walked out and they had to scramble to find employees to fill their positions... looks like the pool of options was pretty poor. I took my new Jeep in for an overheating issue. It sat there for 3 days and nothing was done after being told repeatedly that it would be looked at each day and I would receive call. Finally, The It sat there for 3 days and nothing was done after being told repeatedly that it would be looked at each day and I would receive call. Finally, The service representative after 3 days told me it had not been looked at and he apologized. I told him thank you for letting me so I had it towed to another Jeep dealership who has already called and is addressing the issue. It gets worse the dealership manager calls my wife and flat out lies and tells my wife they had ordered a part and that it had been looked at and the part was coming in. Furthermore, The manager never apologized to my wife and he was dumbfounded that we paid to have the Jeep towed to another dealership. We never raised a voice and we could have lived with just a simple answer. This dealership has some major issues. I understand good help is hard to find but the truth will go long ways!!! More
This is the worst dealership to buy a car from. After buying a car in June 2022, the car tore up in 5 days after purchasing it. The car was a 2021 with 5,000 miles on it and it was still what is considered a "lemon." A dealership from my hometown told me that I just bought a bad car that is going to cost me $3,500.00 to only drive it. Stay away from Scott Evans in GA! They are frauds!! More
Absolute worst place to take a car for service in the entire state of Georgia. I took my recently purchased 2022 Chrysler 300S in for the first of two "free" oil changes. I made an appointment for 10: entire state of Georgia. I took my recently purchased 2022 Chrysler 300S in for the first of two "free" oil changes. I made an appointment for 10:30am and arrived about 15 minutes early. The car was not taken back until about 11:30am.....an hour after my appointment time. But wait, it gets worse - way worse. When they were done and brought the car out, oily hand prints were everywhere - all over the hood and front fenders, on the driver door handle and steering wheel. Really?? - and I don't know how they did this but they got an oily mess all over the passenger seat leather. I will let anyone that asks how crappy they treated me and my new car and strongly recommend they go elsewhere for service. You would think they would have some pride in their work, but apparently not. Such awful treatment of my new car by the dealer I bought it from is pathetic. This is no way to treat customers or build any kind of loyalty. I will find another dealer and gladly pay for any future oil changes. This place will not see another dime of my money. More
