THE WORST DEALER TO DEAL WITH. FIRST OF ALL, THEY BROKE MY WHEEL COVER AND REFUSED TO REPLACE IT, AND THEY ARE SAYING IT WAS MY FAULT. I ONLY DO SERVICE THERE AND NO WHERE ELSE. I BOUGHT THAT SERVICE PLAN MY WHEEL COVER AND REFUSED TO REPLACE IT, AND THEY ARE SAYING IT WAS MY FAULT. I ONLY DO SERVICE THERE AND NO WHERE ELSE. ALSO, EVERYTIME I GET AN OIL CHANGE DONE, THEY NEVER EVER FILL TO THE LEVEL. I HAVE TO GO BACK AND RE CHECK IT ALL THE TIME. THE MANAGERS ARE ONLY PROMISING THINGS AND NEVER DELIVER! I cannot say enough to express my deep appreciation for Kris Johnson, Scott Clark Toyota's customer service rep in the Service Dept. We own a 1991 Previa which will be driven by new teenage drivers; I cal Kris Johnson, Scott Clark Toyota's customer service rep in the Service Dept. We own a 1991 Previa which will be driven by new teenage drivers; I called Kris needing info on how to make the van SAFE for my kids to drive. (We're talking replacing dashboard lights and headlights.) Professional and friendly, Kris went out of his way to not only give me the pricing I needed, but to offer different pricing scenarios -- with the various servicing options to go with them. He explained everything in terms I could understand, and did it all patiently and enthusiastically. He made it a joy to call Scott Clark Toyota and seek out service information. He is a "wealth of information" -- someone who really knows his job and how to provide stellar customer service. Kris Johnson is a definite asset to Scott Clark Toyota. More
After moving to the area in 2004, I went to Scott Clark because I needed a Toyota dealer to service my Tundra. I have continued to go back because of Bobby Dills. The quality of work and price has always because I needed a Toyota dealer to service my Tundra. I have continued to go back because of Bobby Dills. The quality of work and price has always been good but Bobby is the reason I do business with Scott Clark. My customer service experience with Bobby has been nothing short of outstanding at Scott Clark's Toyota. I have and will continue to recommend my friends to Bobby Dills. I have never had anything other than positive feedback from people I have sent to see Bobby. Being in the service industry myself, I know how important it is to have a great relationship with people I work for. I also know what it takes to have that relationship exist. Bobby Dills exhibits these qualities by being straightforward and always delivering as promised. I never worry that unnecessary repairs will be performed on my truck nor do I worry that the problem or maintenance will not be handled properly. Bobby built this trust with me because his words and actions have always been one in the same during the five plus years I have been bringing my truck to Scott Clark. He is genuine and very personable. He always takes time to introduce me to the service technician working on my Tundra when I come in for something other than maintenance. This allows me to ask questions and get answers which give me peace of mind. There are a lot of places I could have my vehicle service performed but I never consider it. When I think of how many things I do not like about dealing with car dealers sales and service departments, it is easy for me to say I have never felt that way at Scott Clark. My wife brought her 2010 Camry to the Scott Clark dealership on 10/1/2010 for an oil change and tire rotation @ 15,000. In addition to this service the following service was performed at a total cost dealership on 10/1/2010 for an oil change and tire rotation @ 15,000. In addition to this service the following service was performed at a total cost of $276.03. Replaced the cabin air filter for a cost of $48. The recommended service at 15,000 says clean the filter. This car has not been driven in extreme conditions and there was no reason to replace the filter A1 misc, what ever that is cost $10.89 Although there was no noted abnormal tire wear all a four wheel alignment was performed and the tires were balanced. The air filter was replaced at a cost of $22.87. This is not on the recommended list for replacement @ 15,000 and the car is not driven in extreme conditions. Tighten nuts and bolts on chasis & body was done. This car is not used for towing and no where is it recommended that this is done at 15,000 miles. Receipt shows that Customer requests FACTORY PLUS 15K MILE SERVICE. This is simply not true. She did not request anything but an oil change and tire rotation. When I talked with the sevice manager, Bobby Dills, he stated that she could have said no and that the extra work performed was "preventive". This is a "Better Late Than Never" deserved compliment for Mr. Justin Bustle on two different service visits. A few weeks ago I brought my 1999 Toyota Camry in to have my tires rotated. Upon completion Mr. Bustle informed me I had another problem with my car and I thought "oh no more money". He then told me this problem was already fixed because he had a coupon and applied it to the service. THANK GOD!! In comparison with two other auto service shops people say Auto Dealerships like Scott Clark Toyota are more expensive when it comes to servicing your auto. I have found my experience with Scott Clark Toyota and Justin Bustle to be reasonable and of quality service. On my second service visit to Scott Clark Toyota I came in to purchase new tires and have them installed on my car. Before coming in I gathered information from tire dealerships. Because I have dealt with Justin I contacted him for information on tires and he gave me better information than the tire dealships. I purchased my new tires from Scott Clark Toyota because of Mr. Bustle's information. In short, once again I am grateful not only to Mr. Justin Bustle but to Scott Clark Toyota for having an A+ service and an A+ employee. Thank you again! Jeanette Russell More
I needed an oil and filter change and called up Scott Clark Toyota to schedule an appointment for a Saturday morning. The person on the phone named Brian was very helpful and told me what to do. I brought the car in on Saturday morning and the mishaps started right away. Bobby the assistant manager of service helped write up the service ticket and was not friendly at all. He kept looking away and walking away from me when trying to speak with him. Eventually after about 20 minutes we finally checked in our car for an oil change. When we returned to pick it up late that morning nobody knew where our car was. The person behind the counter asked us who had helped us when we dropped it off and we told them that Bobby had written up the ticket for us. They told us to go and talk with Bobby and to find out where our car was. He immediately huffed and puffed and told us he did not write up our ticket and to go back to the service desk. Eventually they found our car after about 20 minutes and the oil was changed. Whew, and to think that we are paying them for service. They have really nice facilities at this Toyota dealer. Too bad they cannot back it up with friendly, courteous service. Maybe it was a fluke, I don't know. I am new to the area. I think I will give them a try with our other Toyota and see how that visit goes. Wish me good luck. Normally I wouldn't give them a second chance but maybe the assistant manager of service was having a bad day. We all have them sometimes. More
I was so worried about my Prius! It had been left in a parking garage for 3 months while I was on vacation/home in CT. When my boyfriend stopped in Charlotte to check on it, it would not start. When I finally got back to NC, a bunch of other stressful things happened, and I was not able to get to Scott Clark's Toyota City until 5:30pm on a Wednesday. The service shop closes at 8pm. Somehow, MAGICALLY, service was able to replace my Prius battery, rotate my tires, change my oil, do the 09 pedal recall, AND wash my car in 2 hours! I have never had this good of service at a car place. Scott Clark's Toyota City exceeded my expectations greatly. I was so worried about my car and how long it would take to get fixed and the fact that they were able to do it in 2 hours is more than I could have asked for. They spared me so much more stress and anxiety. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I spoke with Billy from Service several times, and he was so utterly helpful as well. Thank you so much! I would give you guys a 110% rating. Best service ever! I seriously can't thank you enough. More
My internet salesperson, RG Gunderson was great! I made an appointment with him and he was available the moment I walked into the dealership. He spent a great deal of time with me during my visit and yet an appointment with him and he was available the moment I walked into the dealership. He spent a great deal of time with me during my visit and yet never made me feel rushed during the process. He kept things moving along at a reasonable pace so we got a lot accomplished. RG was very personable - good sense of humor and easy going. He was very knowledgeable about the Rav4 vehicle I was interested in. During my test drive he made no attempts to use high pressure sales tactics just to sell me a vehicle, even though they were at month end and most like facing quotas to be met. RG simply let me drive the vehicle and ask questions. He was relaxed and it helped me relax throughout the entire purchase process - no high pressure sales pitch here!! Made the application process painless and when one type of financing didn't work out (due to my 2 yr old trade), he & and my finance person, Larry Ellis, went above and beyond to get me an even better deal that would perfectly suit my circumstances. I was extremely satisfied with the professionalism of these gentleman and made to feel like a very valued customer. Larry Ellis, the finance guy was great. This was my second vehicle purchase from this dealership and Larry handled my original deal. He remembered me and took the time to explain all the options and the terms of the contract. I truly appreciated his sense of humor and his willingness to answer my questions - even if he had heard the same question all day long from other customers. He made me feel as though I was the most important customer they had - no rush, no harried service. I can't say enough about the genuine service I received at this dealership.This is why I will continue to have my vehicle serviced here and plan to buy my next vehicle from this dealership. This was actually a follow up visit to having my Tundra checked for an odd noise coming from the back end. It was determined to be the rear differential and it needed to be replaced. I received the service I have come to expect because of Pete; but still above and beyond by many measures of it.
