I had sent in a request, via an internet site, regarding a 2011 Prius. My family and I had the pleasure of working with Robert Van Alstyne. Robert was not only personable with my family and I but did a quality job in presenting all aspects of the Prius to us and quite frankly, made it fun. If you're looking for a Prius (or any other Toyota) now (or in the future), you should go to Scott Clark Toyota and speak with Robert (or if he's not available, one of the other friendly staff members...or make an appt with Robert and you should be set). They had 40 or so Prius on the lot so, you'll be the one putting the first miles on it when you test drive and buy it. Anyways, clearly they have an awesome facility with perks like wifi, kids areas (that's plural), comfy/cozy waiting areas w/TV, manicures for the ladies, McCallister's, etc. We purchased the new Prius on Friday 10/28/2011 and couldn't be happier with our purchase (had the pleasure of meeting the GSM, Jimmy Cline, as well...nice guy). I've only put 180 miles on it so far and drive mostly, so far, within the city. One of dash displays (all very cool) state that I'm getting 50 mpg (sweet) so, that's outstanding. Lastly, go to Scott Clark's and purchase a new Toyota today. More
Daniel did a great job easy to relate to. Started out with Regie online never got to meet Regie in person. Jeff when we were at the dealership did a good job I just wish I wouldn't have had to waste our with Regie online never got to meet Regie in person. We could have done everything online and then I would have been happier with the price. All in all it was nice of them to bring the car to us but we did pay 400.00 more than I wanted to pay for the car. I know to some 400.00 isn't much money but to us it's alot. Than the money and time wasted to come down there also. The dealership is very nice and I would recommend them to other people. More
On 10 October, my wife and I bought a new Camry LE from Scott Clark Toyota. We worked with Robert Van Alstyne, Michelle Gustafson, Michelle's supervisor whose name I do not recall, and Travis Hayslett. Eac Scott Clark Toyota. Each of these people did their job in a professional and efficient manner. They took the time needed to answer our questions and provided all the information we needed to make our buying decisions. Since 1999, we have purchased three new vehicles from Scott Clark. I would recommend Scott Clark Toyota to anyone buying a new Toyota vehicle. I have also used their service department since 1999 and would recommend it to anyone who needs to have their Toyota serviced. My Overall rating of the Scott Clark buying experience and service experience is ---- EXCELLENT. More

Robby took the time to work with me on the car I was interested in, allocate financing with provided the best car buying experience I have ever had. Robby took the time to work with me on the car I was interested in, allocate financing with incredible rates, and work with me on my trade to give me the best offer on my trades...which I have to admit were very fair. Robby took the time and patience to really ask the right questions and was able to save us both a lot of time and headaches. I have been shopping around and working with dealers all week and none could hold a candle to what Robby and Scott Clark's Toyota delivered. Seriously, the best experience for car buying I have ever had. The whole staff that we interacted with at Scott Clark's Toyota were extremely courteous, helpful and paid attention to all our needs during the purchasing process. More

The experience we had at this dealership was the worst I have ever had ANYWHERE...hands down. I can TRULY say...before today I did not realize what it was like to be DISCRIMINATED AGAINST! I found two cars have ever had ANYWHERE...hands down. I can TRULY say...before today I did not realize what it was like to be DISCRIMINATED AGAINST! I found two cars via the internet (2008 Volvo and 2008 Lexus) and emailed the dealership about it. Bill Patterson called me back and we started the process. I filled out the credit app. and set up an appointment to test drive the cars. My daughter and I drove over an hour only to get there and wait almost 45 minutes to even look at a car. Bill meet me got the keys to the trade in and ask me for my name and address. Then he got the keys to the Volvo. We walked out and he opened all the doors and said "it looks like it has been well taken care of". We proceeded to take the test drive, came back and right away he started the paperwork for us to purchase THIS car. He just shrugged off the fact I wanted to look at the Lexus too. I filled out another credit app and just sat there and waited while he went back and fourth with numbers. I of course wanted to know what the payments and the down payment would be. I was thinking the whole time we would go look at the Lexus because the price was about the same on both cars. When he came back the first time and my daughter questioned him on the interest rate things went downhill from there. After is 3rd time back to the table she questioned the trade in value. We told him we had pulled the KBB value and his was ALOT lower. Then we questioned the % rate. She said we would go to our bank and see if we could get it cheaper. This went on for awhile. I told him I wanted to go get my son in-law and we would come back before 5:30 (it was 2:30. He said if we didn't sign the contract then it would cost me a 500.00 down payment and 17.00 more on my monthly payment. I said 3 hrs are going to make that big of a difference? He was more upset and said Rooby won't do it..."you can buy the car now with no down payment and $$$ per month or come back in 3 hrs and pay 500.00 down and $$$ a month. I said "NO" you can go get Robby. He leaves and comes back with Robby. Robby then proceeds to tell me the same thing and I told him no 3 hrs can't make that big of a difference. He said well just sign the contract and if you come back and don't want I will shred it. I said "no...I am not signing anything right now. I will be back by 5:30. He said do you think I am lying...I said no, but I'm not signing anything right now. He stood up and looked through all the papers on the table then said let me go get something I will be right back. My daughter ask Bill if he had the car keys and he said I will go get them. About 20 minutes later he came back with the keys handed them to my daughter and started gathering up the paperwork. I said is Robby coming back? He said NO he is finished. I said "finished...I thought he was coming back"? Bill said NO this is what it is and if you want to come back later you can. With that he handed my daughter a BB report for what the trade-in was worth and very smuggly said "YOU can keep this". I had very high expectations when I walked into this dealership...when I left I knew the meaning of DISCRIMINATION. They thought because we were women we would just accept what they said as the gospel and they were both (Bill and Robby) furious with us. How dare a woman question a CAR SALESMAN!!! Ladies they will give you a free manicure but you better not question them. I didn't need a manicure...I needed a car. I will NEVER step foot in that dealership again. I do have to say I called back and talked a Mr. Cline (he is the GM I think)and he was very nice and apologetic. From my experience he is the only thing Scott Clark Toyota has going for them. More
Wouldn't go anywhere else. I worked with Robert Van Alstyne and he was amazing. My mom bought a car from Scott Clark's Toyota three months ago and had such a good experience, when I told her I was look Alstyne and he was amazing. My mom bought a car from Scott Clark's Toyota three months ago and had such a good experience, when I told her I was looking to buy a Prius, it was a no brainer that she insisted I go to Scott Clarks. This is saying a lot as she lives 80 miles away and was adament I visit this particular dealership. To top it off, I live in Florida and was just visiting my mom. The entire team I dealt with was so awesome, especially Mr. Van Alstyne, I will highly recommend anyone I know take the 80 mile journey to Scott Clarks for the exceptional service I received. The only downside is that living in Florida I will be unable to have any service done there but I assure you If I am ever in the market to get a new car, I will make the trip from Florida to Scott Clark's to purchase something there. It is well worth it. More

Kevin McCall and Robby Parker were great to work with and after some back and forth negotiations we were able to get the car we wanted at a great price. And when it came to signing all the paperwork Michelle Gustafson in Finance made the experience a lot of fun and got us out the door and in our new car in a short amount of time. More
