Horrible support of a Veteran on Veteran's Day! I spoke to Julian, internet salesman (Scott Clark Toyota, Matthews NC) about a vehicle that I was highly interested in. I am located near Fort Bragg I spoke to Julian, internet salesman (Scott Clark Toyota, Matthews NC) about a vehicle that I was highly interested in. I am located near Fort Bragg, NC and was going to travel to Matthews to purchase the vehicle. I informed Julian that I would put money down to hold the vehicle until I was able to travel to Matthews to purchase the vehicle on Veteran's Day (3 days later). Julian assured me that he felt that the vehicle would not be sold and told me that it is not the Dealer's policy to hold a vehicle for an individual. I was perfectly fine with putting money down and not collecting the money if I decided not to buy the vehicle. This was a limited edition vehicle, so it is very difficult to find and there were only 2 for sale in NC at the time. I was traveling to Matthews on Veteran's Day to purchase the vehicle when I was called by Julian and informed that the vehicle had been sold. After two hours of driving (an earlier call would have been stellar), I turned around and headed back to Fort Bragg. On the way home, I called John Heister Dodge and they held a vehicle for me until I was able to get there that afternoon. Thank you, John Heister Dodge...good riddance Scott Clark Toyota. They did a poor job of supporting a Veteran on Veteran's Day! More
