We talked about how horrible it is to deal with car buying, how poorly women are treated when it comes to purchasing cars or even servicing cars. Boy did we get that right huh? I had a solid appointment scheduled for today, which the salesperson even confirmed in email this morning after the used Subaru I was coming to see was sold last night. Both my husband and I took time off our jobs today and no one at the dealership had the common decency to cancel this appointment. Once again a miserable experience with another dealership. I realize car sales people have to make a living by selling cars, but it is too much to ask that they also show a little respect for those of us in terrible situations that just need to get a car? Good luck to those of you looking for an honest dealership and looking to be treated respectfully. You should not expect that from Scott Clark Honda. UPDATE: The dealer reached out and offered to resolve the issue with many apologies for our experience. I was humbly surprised to find that they were able to find a very similar vehicle to what I was expecting to purchase and even went so far as to upgrade with the features I wanted at their expense. I have never had a good experience with a car dealer but I can now say there is a dealer in Charlotte that is looking out for their customers and concerned for their reputation. I would recommend when looking for a new or used vehicle that you check out Scott Clark Honda. More
