I had the pleasure of purchasing a used Audi SQ5 from the Scott Clark Honda team. My salesman Travis Moffitt was on time for our appointment, professional, and very kind. We thought we had a really good experience both with the salesperson and the finance officer; however, it wasn't until we got home that we realized the very same car (same vin number) was listed online at $ salesperson and the finance officer; however, it wasn't until we got home that we realized the very same car (same vin number) was listed online at $3,500 less than the sticker price on the lot. This was never stated during the sales conversation, and the salesperson was asked more than once what the best price would be. Had we been made aware of this; the entire negotiation would have been different. As it is, we feel it was not a good experience but more of what is typically expected when buying a car. Due to this omission of the online price, we ended up paying more than we should have. We feel that the sales price on the lot should match the online price advertised and should be presented to the customer up front. UPDATE: We spoke with the finance officer a few days after purchasing the car. He did not know what had taken place with the sale and the difference in the online price and the sticker price. He informed us that they wanted to make this right and that he would speak with his management to see what could be done. We are happy to report that Scott Clark Honda did the right thing in resolving this issue. Our finance officer came back to us and was able to offer us the difference in those two prices. We are very appreciative and now feel good about the experience we've had with Scott Clark. Thank you for hearing us, LEO, and working with us to make sure our experience was a good one.
