This is Todd Dickson, General Manager at Crown Honda Charlotte. I am reaching out to you to offer my sincerest apologies about your most recent experience at our dealership. At Crown Honda Charlotte, we strive to provide the best possible experience during the sales process. Our records show that the Honda Pilot you purchased is a Honda certified car, not a Crown certified car. This is good news for you as Honda certified vehicles come with a full warranty (as opposed to Crown certified vehicles which come with a limited warranty). I spoke with my sales representatives about the sales process of this vehicle. The reason we could not drop the price any further than the $600 we did reduce for you was because we had already dropped the asking price to a reduced figure. I can comfortably say that we sold you the car at the same price one of our employees would be paying. I completely agree with your complaints about the dash lights and the DVD retrieval. In a situation like this, we should have absolutely fixed these issues at no cost to you. I am happy to refund anything you paid out of pocket for this and apologize that a miscommunication on our end caused us to charge you for these services. With respect to your new tag, I believe we had another miscommunication between departments. After each vehicle purchase, we arrange for a courtesy call from our title clerk to verify whether the customer will transfer the old plate or acquire a new one. When the title clerk feels there may be some benefit to doing this differently than how it was setup in the deal, she is instructed to do what is best for the customer, even if it ultimately creates a little more work on our end. I assure you this call was made with the intention of confirming that we move forward with the best option for you and I apologize that it appeared that we did not keep your original requests on file. I appreciate the feedback you have provided to us, as it makes me aware of ways in which we can continue to improve the customer experience at Crown Honda Charlotte.
