One Saturday my Fiancee and I decided to head to Carrawinds amusement park. On the way to North Carolina to visit the amusement park my car broke down. (A mile from the exit) After getting the car towed to the Honda dealership I was informed that it would need a new engine and cost at least $3,000. I pretty much expected that, seeing how the vehicle had almost 250,000 miles on it. I honestly felt that I got my money's worth out of the car, but I could not see myself paying that much to get it fixed... She was old and beat up pretty bad... After freaking out over how my fiancée and I were going to get home, I was introduced to Mr Robert Van Alstyne. We sat down and started talking about purchasing a new car. Robert took everything and broke it down Barney style. Each car we looked at he told me the pros and cons. He was very straight forward. Thanks to him I bought a brand new 2013 Honda Civic and was back on the road in no time. Everyone a Scott Clark was very helpful and extremely professional. I walked into Scott Clark Honda yesterday (Father's Day) planning to take a used Accord on a test drive. While I didn't have an appointment, I had done my homework. The man I had read so much about walked over to introduce himself only a few seconds after we walked in the front door. Only minutes later, we were off on a test drive in the CPO Accord that had piqued my interest. Timbo seemed genuinely interested in us as people from the beginning. Indeed, the buying/trading process with Timbo in the lead was seamless from the outset and I never felt pressured into buying. Despite being away from his kids on Father's Day, Timbo made it seem like our experience that day was the only thing he cared about. Timbo even worked late to see us off in our new Accord. Scott Clark Honda does all the little things right. They offered me a competitive price on my trade-in even though it needs a little work before resale. I was well-hydrated throughout the process and, when I needed a little pick-me-up, Timbo came to the rescue with a can of RedBull. I could go on and on about how impressed I was with this experience. Traded in 2004 Odyssey for a new one. After negotiating online we came in to finish the deal. Tim Black was available to help us and take us on a test drive.
