1) When I got my new Cadillac XT5 the sales person told me that in addition to the first free GM service that Scott would provide all free services for 3 years or 36,000 miles. We live an hour snd a half a me that in addition to the first free GM service that Scott would provide all free services for 3 years or 36,000 miles. We live an hour snd a half away from Scott. Although the service advisor new of the first free GM service he said subsequent services were not free - just the first. I again checked with sales and they said the service advisor didn’t “know what he was talking about”. It was like sales and service were from two different planets. (2) Although our state inspection was free, there was a charge for the state emission test. While that was understandable, the cost of that emission test was $50 - way out of line with the normal and customary charge. It was like you guys bumped up the cost of the emission test to make up for the free state inspection. (3) Your service invoice leaves a lot to be desired, as it was substantially lacking in detail. I could not tell from the brief information on the document whether full synthetic oil was used for the oil change or whether it was a synthetic blend or no synthetic at all. Nor did the record indicate whether the free safety inspection was done and/or if things like tire pressure, coolant levels, battery voltage, wiper condition, tire wear, washer fluid levels, etc. were checked and in desirable condition / specifications.
