I moved to Florida in the late spring of this year from New York City. I hadn't owned a vehicle for years. I needed a new battery during the summer. During my prior decades of car ownership, I have always preferred dealing with the dealer for my servicing needs. After some research, I chose to try Schumacher VW in West Palm Beach. One of the best decisions I've made since moving here. Jay Hersey demonstrated to me why this dealership has such an outstanding reputation. He is friendly and competent and PATIENT. All my questions were answered honestly and treated with respect. I also ended up doing the scheduled maintenance which we both decided probably hadn't been done by the prior owner. The price for everything was extremely competitive and competently done while I waited in a very comfortable customer lounge. Now, after a summer sitting in the hot Florida summer, I needed a new set of tires. Although there is a quality tire discount store near me, I waited for Jay Hersey to come back from vacation in order to discuss what I wanted with him. Not surprisingly, he was not only competitive on the tire price, he pointed out that doing an alignment on all 4 wheels made sense, especially considering the investment I was making in premium tires. I knew also that they would check the suspension, break pads, fluid levels, etc. as part of their service when installing the tires. I made an appointment for the next morning. Although, Jay offered me transportation back and forth to my home in Boynton Beach, I decided to wait in their customer lounge. The entire wait was only three hours which passed quickly due in part to conversation with a friendly customer who was also waiting for his car to be serviced. Finding an established company with an excellent record of customer satisfaction for all my needs has been my goal since moving to Florida. Schumacher Volkswagen in West Palm Beach has met that goal for all my automotive needs. More

I just recently moved to Florida so needed a new dealer to service my out of warranty vehicle. I have always preferred to use a QUALITY dealer for servicing my vehicles. The challenge was to find that QUALITY dealership here in Florida. Long story made very short, my choice of Schumacher Volkswagen of West Palm Beach was right on the money. Jay Hersey, the Assistant Manager of the Service Department, was kind, patient, knowledgeable, personable and willing to answer all of my questions. I have some experience in this industry and recognize and appreciate professionalism when I see it. Finally, my vehicle was competently serviced and the work and materials were billed at fair rates. The only negative was that I had to drive home in torrential rains after Jay had just washed my car as a courtesy :-). More
