Ignore Schumacher Volkswagen w/ Brian Wantz in charge The only good part of Schumacher Volkswagen of West Palm Beach is the service department. The sales department leadership which is lead by Brian Wantz The only good part of Schumacher Volkswagen of West Palm Beach is the service department. The sales department leadership which is lead by Brian Wantz is disrespectful and shameful to loyal Volkswagen customers. If you are expecting a competitive price when comparing with another dealership that initially produces a great price that you have never had business with before, you will be surprised at how they will poach your business for a slim margin of a few dollars. Brian Wantz will stonewall the barely "competitive" price so that you save nearly less than twenty dollars total for a car versus another dealership. I say this as a customer with a no-crash history and having driven multiple undamaged cars for hundreds of thousands of miles. I can only imagine in horror how much money I would have lost with Brian Wantz in charge if I was a young and inexperienced new car shopper with poor credit and no car driving experience who didn't shop around and analyze prices by each dealership online and in person. I will never purchase from Schumacher Volkswagen of West Palm Beach in the future specifically because the car is great as a complete product despite the bullheaded price negotiating tactics of Brian Wantz who can ruin a customer's experience for a car. Brian Wantz will effortlessly refuse to waste your time and his by quickly telling you how little money you'll save and will consult with your salesperson for 5 minutes or less so that you can receive the worst possible deal available without attempting to negotiate the price. I will tell everyone I know that driving a Volkswagen car will be one of their best decisions and simultaneously one of their worst decisions if their deal is finalized specifically in a Schumacher Volkswagen dealership. Please take my experience as a cautionary tale to avoid Volkswagen Schumacher until Brian Wantz is fired or substituted within the leadership of the sales department. Schumacher Volkswagen should only be a choice out of desperation and that "caveat emptor" rings truest with this dealership. If Schumacher Volkswagen was the first dealership I visited when comparing prices to other dealerships it most likely would have been the first dealership I eliminated and crossed off my list because of the thousands of dollars I would potentially have lost due to their "competitive" suggested price. If you must purchase or lease a new or used/CPO car please expect an unreasonably small amount of savings which will negligibly undercut a great deal from another dealership. Schumacher Volkswagen with Brian Wantz in charge of the sales department negotiates prices the same way AT&T and Comcast negotiate prices, they either don't or with as marginal a benefit as possible for the customer. If there are other Volkswagen dealerships in your area please visit them first or even if they are an hour or two away from you please visit them first with your business so that when a reasonable price is negotiated beforehand, you can visit Schumacher Volkswagen as a last resort or if you are in an emergency and must have a Volkswagen within a few days. More
