My husband and I bought an e-golf used and brought it to this dealer because it wasn't working right. RIght away we got an attitude of too bad so sad, we don't work on it, tough. We found a local small mechanic that replaced some parts on it and did a great job so we just dealt with it. Then the car had an electric system error. The mechanic worked on it ALL DAY to try to fix it but couldnt figure out what was wrong and that it was a dealer code. They didn't charge us. (P & J's Automotive if you were curious, they are great). I was scared so I looked online who fixed the E-Golf and I found a dealer in Georiga. I called them. I was ready to ship to them. THey said no I should no thave to do that. THey then called the district manager of Volkswagen here. THis was the only way for them to look at it. They were forced by the higher ups. They then repalced the charging port, tires, software updates and other electrical parts. When we got it back it was WORSE than it was when we dropped it off. The AC didn't work and in South Florida, that was no good. That repair cost a little over $10,000 We had to bring it right back. They then brought it in and then sent it to Colonial Volkswagen of Westborough but didn't tell us where it was being shipped. Then I had to call all over Boston to find it. That dealer was amazing. That was in August. We just got the car back yesterday. During this time frame I was offered NO LOANER. Every time I asked they had a great attitude. THey told me they had no loaners. what dealer doesn't have loaners? We had to rent a car on our dime until we got our car back. It was the service advisor at colonial to advised us to call VW customer care to bring up this situation. This is a HUGE difference from Southern 441 Nissan. Every time my car was worked on, they loaned me another leaf and it was no drama. Very easy. So when I knew it was being put on the truck to be shipped, which was Friday, I called Schumacher a few days later and I was told by the service manager not to call. There was an attitude everytime I called. I am a business owner and if I treated my clients like this, I would be out of business. More

We tried to get it fixed but in 3 attempts the vehicle came back broken in other ways. Now we do not want this broken vehicle but have 4 more years of payments on the lease. Management and the repair department are a disaster. After six attempts to fix none functioning sensors on a 2019 Tiguan they still do not work. Management does not return phone calls, passes the buck and has otherwise wash their hands from the issue. Took the car for an oil change, and found out several weeks later that they never change the oil, only the sticker from the windshield. Run in the other direction from Schumacher, they do not deserve your business and is one of the worst companies I've ever had to deal with. More
