i MADE THE DECISION TO BUY A NEW VEHICLE FROM SCHUMACKER ON NORTH LAKE BLVD OR FROM THE HYUNDAI DEALERSHIP ACROSS FROM SCHUMACKER. I FIRST VISITED SCHUMACKER WITH MY WIFE AND WE WERE SHOWN AROUND BY SUSAN ON NORTH LAKE BLVD OR FROM THE HYUNDAI DEALERSHIP ACROSS FROM SCHUMACKER. I FIRST VISITED SCHUMACKER WITH MY WIFE AND WE WERE SHOWN AROUND BY SUSAN SCHMIDT AFTER WE EXPLAINED WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR IN TERMS OF TYPE OF VEHICLE AND PRICE. SUSAN SHOWED US THE VOLKS PASSAT & JETTA AS WELL AS A CHEVY. WE LIKED THE PASSAT VERY MUCH. SUSAN THEN TOOK US INSIDE AND GAVE US SOME PRICING ON LEASING AND FINANCING. AND THEN I TEST DROVE THE PASSAT. WE THEN WENT TO THE HYUNDAI DEALERSHIP ACROSS THE ROAD AND TEST DROVE THE ELANTRA, A VERY NICE VEHICLE. AND AFTER AN HOUR OF NON-STOP PRESSURE AND STRESS WE LEFT. I MAKE NO FURTHER COMMENT. AFTER HAVING LUNCH WE WENT BACK TO SCHUMACKER , SAT WITH SUSAN AND CLINCHED THE DEAL TO BUY THE JETTA . I WISH TO MAKE IT ABUNDANTLY CLEAR THAT OUR FINAL DECISION TO PURCHASE THE JETTA WAS INFLUENCED BY SUSAN'S PROFESSIONALISM, HER KNOWLEDGE AND HER MANNER IN MAKING US WELCOME WITHOUT EXERTING ANY PRESSURE ON US TO BUY A VEHICLE THAT DAY. . Picked up our Passat SEL TDI today (3/21). Entire experience was very professional unlike the vast majority of car dealers in South Florida. I went straight from work to the North Palm Beach VW to look at the Jetta I had seen online. I was completely let down when I was informed by my bank that they messed up my paper work and I would not be able to get the car right then... I would have to resubmit everything and wait a day or two AGAIN! Clark and Steve told me I could do financing through VW and started on my paperwork while Steve took us (My husband and I) on a test drive. After Steve explained all of the wonderful things VW has to offer, I was sold! As a mother buying her first brand new car I was especially impressed with the safety features, and the warranty/insurance options. For everything this car has to offer, the price is excellent! I got the financing through VW and drove home in my 2014 VW Jetta! My husband will be returning soon to buy a new truck that he had his eye on... I will be recommending Schumacher Volkswagen to everyone I know! On a side note.. My husband and I had just gotten off of work and were still in our work clothes. I somewhat expected some funny looks or "not so helpful" assistance. We were both very pleased with the help we received right away. We didn't feel uncomfortable at all. The show room was beautiful.. They offered us assistance and a beverage as soon as we entered.. Steve and Clark were both EXTREMELY helpful and understanding under the circumstances.. I think I'm going to bake them both a cake! All of the employees there were very professional and courteous... The car is amazing.. The price is amazing... When the time comes, I will be returning to Schumacher on Northlake for another VW! My last service and repair work this past week was fine and Cindi was my rep for the first time. My comments that follow and my rating above refer to my overall experience with past service done at Schumac and Cindi was my rep for the first time. My comments that follow and my rating above refer to my overall experience with past service done at Schumacher VW............ I've had problems with the quality of your service center: After several past visits they were unable to diagnose a dented custom wheel that came on the Passat (that I purchased from you). The salesman told me at the time of my purchase that the original owner ordered the custom wheels at the time he purchased the car new at Schumacher. I bought it with about 2300 miles on it, essentially a new car. I had been going through tires much too soon and one wheel was losing air at a very fast rate over an extended time. I had Schumacher look for the problem a couple of times without resolution so I went to a wheel specialist in Jupiter who immediately found and fixed the problem, a dented rim, for $100. He told me my constant poor ride quality was because the custom wheels should have hub rings because they did not properly fit the axles. I went to Custom Wheels in WPB for hub rings and they found that the wheel bolts were also not the correct ones for the custom wheels and they corrected that problem by selling me new bolts. They also told me that I only had to do half the brake work that Schumacher's diagnostic service listed to be a necessity. Custom Wheels in WPB fixed all the problems during one visit. Schumacher's service center caused me to have a less than great ride from my car for many years and I don't appreciate that! I hope you fix these glaring deficiencies in the quality of your car care center as I continue to come to you because of the convenient location of the shop. I have spent many thousands of dollars for repair work at Schumacher during the past few years on my Passat and it's quite unfortunate that I do not have a VW service center nearby that I can rely on for quality work and honest transactions.
