Appreciation of Excellence in Service Vacationing in Delray Beach, Fl. on Tuesday evening 11/6/18 the head lights began to flicker on and off, the speedometer went back and forth from 10 t Vacationing in Delray Beach, Fl. on Tuesday evening 11/6/18 the head lights began to flicker on and off, the speedometer went back and forth from 10 to 70 miles an hour while traveling at approximately 25mph the air conditioner was pulsating. The next morning Wednesday the7th as a walk in to the service department with no appointment, I was greeted by a Chrysler service representative in a cordial professional manner. She asked me if I had an appointment and my reply was no this problem just began. I told her I was on a family vacation and heading back to Chicago on Friday. I was driving a Chrysler 200 series 2013 which I purchased at Schumacher Chrysler new. Within a few minutes I was greeted by a manager named Tom. I told him of all the problems and my problem of leaving on Friday. Once he heard all of the erratic things that were happening, he said I thought I have heard everything to lighten up my tension. He said leave the car and I will address these issues and hopefully get you on the road. Friday morning I received the text from Tom, your car has been serviced and ready for pick up. I immediately went to the service department Tom came out of his office greeted me with great news. He told me the electrical problem was a leakage in the battery that was still under warranty, he addressed the recalls and made sure the car was 100% road worthy. The charge for this emergency service was minimal. The service at Schumacher Chrysler Delray Beach Florida is Outstanding. Thank you again Tom and the entire service department. OVER AND ABOVE I recently visited the service department to have specialty items added to my vehicle. The service representatives could have sold me the parts and I I recently visited the service department to have specialty items added to my vehicle. The service representatives could have sold me the parts and Installed them as I requested but instead they looked out for my best interest and shared I would void my warranty by doing so. They all work together as a team and were very polite. I did however experience a bit of a delay getting my vehicle back as a result of miscommunication but Dave and Holger worked hand-in-hand to enure things went smoothly. Holger offered me a loner and even went an extra mile by dropping me off himself. Dave and Holger were open minded and both have a great personality. I originally brought my vehicle here to the service because I trusted them being the original dealer but I will be returning because they treated me like family. More
