Misled and now hung up on by Manager Raffe! I bought a 2017 Toyota Corolla from the used cars in Delray in January 2018 (car had 7K miles, Pedro was salesman). I purchased the warranty and was t I bought a 2017 Toyota Corolla from the used cars in Delray in January 2018 (car had 7K miles, Pedro was salesman). I purchased the warranty and was told that everything is covered except for the tires (that was an option I chose not to purchase for financial reasons). About a month ago the key fobs began to not work intermittently and then it progressed to where neither key fob was working at all. My car has only one keyed entry, driver's door, and no way to even pop the trunk without the key fob or the button inside. The Toyota dealership (not Schumacher) has now had my car for a second day and realized that these key fobs are not Toyota key fobs. They were purchased after market meaning my warranty doesn't cover them and that is why they are unable to make them work. They have tried! Each one will cost $389 to replace. I called the Pre-Owned Sales Manager, Raffe Pirruccio, at Schumacher to explain my situation and tell him that Schumacher needs to pay to replace these key fobs. Raffe said, 'That's not our problem. It's yours. You bought the car 9 months ago." When I got upset trying to explain that I can't even get into my car, he hung up on me! His attitude from the first minute of our call was one of superiority and a too-bad-for-you attitude. I bought from Schumacher because of their reputation, but if this is how they treat their customers, I'll be sure to share that with everyone I know. I'm a Palm Beach County teacher and we are supposed to have a relationship with Schumacher. Raffe wouldn't even know that because he didn't even stay on the phone to hear me explain that I purchased the warranty and these after-market keys voided that part of my warranty, all unbeknownst to me. It makes me wonder if Schumacher intentionally gave those keys. What are the chances that someone would lose both of their keys to a car with only 7,000 miles on it?!? More
OVER AND ABOVE I recently visited the service department to have specialty items added to my vehicle. The service representatives could have sold me the parts and I I recently visited the service department to have specialty items added to my vehicle. The service representatives could have sold me the parts and Installed them as I requested but instead they looked out for my best interest and shared I would void my warranty by doing so. They all work together as a team and were very polite. I did however experience a bit of a delay getting my vehicle back as a result of miscommunication but Dave and Holger worked hand-in-hand to enure things went smoothly. Holger offered me a loner and even went an extra mile by dropping me off himself. Dave and Holger were open minded and both have a great personality. I originally brought my vehicle here to the service because I trusted them being the original dealer but I will be returning because they treated me like family. More

I had originally expressed an interest in a used vehicle but I ended up walking away with a 2018 lease (with great rebates). I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family. More
disgusting customer service I went to drop my jeep off this week for an oil change. There was literally no one there. No other cars. There were maybe 5 service advisors in their offices with the sliding doors shut. So 5 advisors, 1 customer. Somehow i still had to wait 15 minutes to check my car in. A few people would come and ask me if i have been helped, i would say no, and they would say, oh someone will be with you soon. Then when i finally pick my car up (after hours) i had questions about the paperwork i was given. so of course i needed to just call in the next day. Brake fluid, power steering fluid, among others were marked red, meaning they need attention. Then it took me 2 business days to finally talk to my advisor megan jackson, i must have called 20 times in two days!! to ask if these were adressed. She said no... i asked her why she didnt call me to explain these issues when my jeep was done? All that happened was I got a text message saying my jeep is ready. Why not also notify me of these issues and ask if i want them addressed? You already have my jeep... you might as well! And guess what the company can charge me for these things! And make more money! Also i am pretty sure you are not looking out for the safety of your customers if vehicles can just drive away without any break fluid.... im not a mechanic but break fluid sounds important. to clarify, even though i picked up the jeep after hours, it was ready and i was notified it was ready with about 3 hours left in their operating hours.... so they needed to contact me and they did not. More

Worse Buying Experience of My Life After telling Craig Sabarese about the vehicle I was looking for he told me they didn’t have it in stock but could bring one in from another dealershi After telling Craig Sabarese about the vehicle I was looking for he told me they didn’t have it in stock but could bring one in from another dealership and still give me the best price available. We agreed on a vehicle and price, started to do the paperwork and he came back in and said it was sold. We then agreed on another vehicle and made it through all the paperwork. Went into the finance department and was quoted a rate of 5.91%. I thought this was rather high since I have good credit and kind of knew what my going rate should be. I asked Leo if it would be any problem if I got my own financing and he said not at all. We took care of everything else and I was set to come back on Tuesday to pickup the car. 20 mins later on my cell phone I secured my own financing at 2.99% from the first creditor I called. I immediately contacted Craig Sabarese and let him know financing is complete on my end and I will bring a draft on Tuesday when I come to pickup the car, he said that will work just fine and will contact me on Tuesday as soon as the car is on it’s way. Tuesday came and by around 3PM I hadn’t heard from Craig Sabarese so I called him. He said that the dealer they were getting the car from accidentally sold the call and he will need to search for another one a couple of states away. At this point I was in disbelief and told him that I know longer want to do business with him. Craig Sabarese became very defensive and insulting of me. Out of suspicion I was able to locate the car he said was sold by VIN number, called the dealer and was able to make the same exact deal over the phone. Not wanting to drive 200 miles to get it, I found another local dealer And made the same deal and ended up purchasing it. I will never go back to a Schumacher dealership as long as I live nor would I recommend them to anyone. “Come Join the Family”, only if I wanted a disfuncional family. More
