Service at Schumacher on Northlake Blvd. I am very pleased with the service I received at Schumacher. Though I didn't buy my car there, I will next time. They understand Chevy's and treated I am very pleased with the service I received at Schumacher. Though I didn't buy my car there, I will next time. They understand Chevy's and treated me well. I have used the dealership 3 times, 2X's for minor issues and 1 time for a rough idle. I am happy to say that Dave explained my car's issue to the service crew and the computer expert. They were able to update my car's computer and now it is running smoothly. I will return to Schumacher for service and certainly considered them for my next vehicle. More

Effecient service visit I had a 9:00 am appointment and was taken care of right on time. I had an air bag recall plus I had a checkup and a tire rotation and oil change. Clutch Install 2007 C6 Corvette convertible with 22k miles on it needed a new clutch, supposedly b/c of driver error. After the repair, I found out it was not drive 2007 C6 Corvette convertible with 22k miles on it needed a new clutch, supposedly b/c of driver error. After the repair, I found out it was not driver error at all, but the fact that the car had not been run and it literally turned to glue. The car has been in 3 times in the last 2 weeks for the same unresolved problem. P0833 - check engine light on for the clutch. They are trying to tell me again that it is driver error. I have driven a stick for over 20 years everyday from a BMW to a Jeep Wrangler. I'm well experienced on how to drive a standard. Today they told me to get in my car and leave that they will not stand behind their work. I'm taking it to another mechanic and then the fun for Schumacher is going to begin! More
Recall Service Turned Nightmare I brought my car into the Schumacher Volkswagen on Northlake Blvd at 7:30am for a recall repair and for my brakes to be inspected. I received a call I brought my car into the Schumacher Volkswagen on Northlake Blvd at 7:30am for a recall repair and for my brakes to be inspected. I received a call at 10:30am with information regarding the estimate for my brakes; I could not answer the phone because I was at work so they left a message. At 2pm I received another phone call and voicemail, mentioning they still needed an answer on what to do with the brakes and that “something else came up.” When I finally got out of work at 4pm, I called the service provider. She continued to mention the $1,000 estimate for work on my brakes, THEN she mentioned that a maintenance employee had backed into my car and damaged the front end. When I arrived at the dealership I was astounded by the amount of damage. I was handed a police report that the employee filed (while I was not there, and he had apparently searched through my glove box for my insurance card.) The service provider and the service manager handled this situation poorly. The police report was filed half an hour before I was called and told “something came up.” The service director told me the employee was on his lunch break and in his personal car so the incident would be handled by the employee’s insurance. When I asked for the time out of the employee, to prove he was on his own time, I was denied this information. When I asked for the dealership’s insurance, I was also denied. Not only was I denied this information, but the response was rude and seemed as if I had been the one that caused this issue. I understand that accidents happen, had the service manager not been so rude in handling the situation, I may not be complaining. More
