I have known about Schumacher Chevrolet for many years and although I never bought a car there, I wanted to give them a chance to sell me on a car I had selected. Best experience at a dealership... I knew what I wanted and I didn't want to be taken for a ride.. (no pun intended...) Kathleen (Internet Director) was very professional and she gave me VERY straightforw and I didn't want to be taken for a ride.. (no pun intended...) I appreciated her prompt replies as most of the sale took place online. This is my 2nd purchase at Schumacher. I returned because the overall experience was flawless. Ann, the salesperson, provided me with very good customer service, efficient transaction and... I ended up purchasing exactly what I wanted and not what the salesperson had to sell me!!! I would recommend Schumacher to anyone who's looking for a Chevrolet !! More

I worked with Kathleen on an internet sales purchase for my aunt that went great. She was quick to answer all of my questions and provide pricing for each configuration we considered. Schumacher had 88 Malibus on the lot with a great selection of options and colors including the exact configuration we wanted. We had a price agreed to before my aunt arrived. When she changed her mind on color, they had the exact same car in the color my aunt wanted and simply swapped the cars. Best selection, best price, no hassles and kathleen was delightful to deal with. More
So, I was car shopping on EBay and stumbled upon a car being sold by this dealership. The price of the vehicle was good and the auction had no reserve, so it would certainly sell if someone bid. Well, I call them and ask about the car a little bit to get some details about the car and they say, "yes, the price is correct, the car is in perfect/new shape, everything is excellent, no the price is not a mistake, that is correct." Then, 2hrs before the end of the auction the sleazy salesmen cancel the auction because they wanted more than their starting price on the car. Car's true market value was $31k, they had first bid at $29k, they cancelled the auction and when I called them, they said I could have the car for $34k. Please exercise caution when dealing with this sleazy dealership that uses unethical business practices. More
This was the best car buying experience we have had. Everyone was friendly and knowlegeable in their particular area. We felt we were being respected and embraced as customers rather than falling prey to unscrupulous sales practices. Jeff, who did the math, gave us some information about saving money on the deal(ie: how to calculate the tax on the new purchase and transferring the plates to save money since we still had two years of registration fees left on the trade-in). Jeff also gave us a fair price on our trade-in. There was no hard-ball negotiating. Everything was honest and up-front. Absolutely no pressure. Kathleen, the internet representative, told us that since the car of our choice was not readily available, she was able to locate four comparable automobiles at other dealerships. Luckily they delivered our first choice and we are very happy with the car. Both Rita and Kathleen kept us informed by telephone or e-mail. Joe was the person who prepared all the volumes of paperwork to be signed when we closed the deal. He was thorough and made suggestions about the warraty options. Again, there was no pressure simply information. After careful consideration, we did purchase an extended warranty. On the day of pick up, Rita gave us the grand tour which included a tour of the new car and a tour of the dealership as she introduced us to all the departmaents, including the Parts and Sevice area. We look forward to many years of association with this dealership and would be very happy to recommend them to friends and family. More
My Malibu is just barely five years old. All my service and that of my family (2 other vehicles) have been through the Service Department. Our cars have never been taken to an outside mechanic. Everytime and that of my family (2 other vehicles) have been through the Service Department. Our cars have never been taken to an outside mechanic. Everytime I go there the price runs $300-$700 because they always find a problem with something on the car. This time there were two things wrong on the car (brakes lights and flashers out) and parking brake (also was serviced and replaced previously) and I was charged a whopping $1,900 and some change. That is utterly ridiculous for a car that only has 82,000 miles and has been serviced by the same dealer since I bought it new. I believe that Chevy should stand behind the quality of its cars and give me some of this money back. Either that or the mechanics and service department see women and plan to rip them off because we don't know about cars. Then they had the nerve to ask me if I wanted them to check out my remote start which is not working(which would have been several hundred more). I said no to that. For Chevy's Malibu to be named a reliable car it certainly has cost me a lot of monies. I have paid more in repairs than the car is worth. I think my next car will be anything but a Chevy or Toyota. More

I recently bought a Chevy Malibu and love the car and also the way that Schumacher employees helped to make sure that this is the perfect car for me. Schumacher's is my favorite car dealership in this area--always was and always will be!! More
I can not tell you how MAD and UPSET i am with this dealership. First to say i brought this car from them and that was fine since i do not like chevy products, but my wife's family buy there cars from dealership. Since i had the car i had it service, and ask them to check the front end of the car because the frontend suspension does not feel right, and they kept telling me that the van is ok. Had the van there again the fourth time and still ask them to check frontend and they still say its ok, and the odometer was around 63k. Got the van back for an oil change and had ask them to check front end and brakes and they said that i need rear brakes for 825.00, 1284.00 frontend work and 871.00 aircondition work. Told them to do under warrantee and they said that my warrantee is over. Let me tell ya, i was going to explode !!!!!. Told them that i was complaining about this issue with the frontend since i got it and now the warrantee is over and they expect me to pay for the frontend work. This is full of BULL----THEY ARE SCAMMERS. I will never buy another thing from them nor any of my family members. More
