New car buyer- won't go anywhere else again. I'm sure I can speak for all of us when I say how much I loathe walking into a dealer and being pounced on by the many salespeople that are typically I'm sure I can speak for all of us when I say how much I loathe walking into a dealer and being pounced on by the many salespeople that are typically waiting outside or right at the front door. I don't like the shady characters that you try to negotiate with, knowing they have so many tricks to try and rip you off. Unfortunately, this has become the stereotype of car dealerships. Schultz Ford is cut from a different cloth. They are a family owned business and pride themselves on breaking that terrible car buying stereotype. Their no pressure environment makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. The excitement of buying a new car is typically shrouded in a cloud of anxiety until you get out of the dealer, but I had none of that here. The staff is genuinely pleasant and friendly, and they were so up front about everything that I never doubted I was getting a great deal. Customer service is clearly a top priority. I have leased a Ford Escape and a Ford Flex from them so far. I can't wait for my lease to be up so I can come back. I recommend them to all of my friends and family. I have had plenty of negative car buying experiences yet I was completely taken aback by the ease and convenience of working with this team. I am a loyal customer for life. More
Had a deal to buy a car- Schutlz changed their price I negotiated a car deal in good faith that included tax, tag and delivery- I have an email confirming this. I accepted the deal on a Saturday (over the phone and via e-mail) then received an e-mail Monday morning stating that they were sorry- they made a mistake and the deal will cost me an additional $2,000 (round numbers). I pointed out various flaws in their service and approach to which I was told "sorry we made the mistake, we take 100% responsibility, but if you want the car" it will cost you more than the original agreed price. This lacks customer service and ethical behavior. Schultz should honor the original deal that was offered by them and accepted by me. Craig P More

Warrenty work Upon making the decision to bring the 2012 F-350 in for service i called this dealership and spoke with the service manager with my concerns. 1- the Upon making the decision to bring the 2012 F-350 in for service i called this dealership and spoke with the service manager with my concerns. 1- the SYNC system hadn't worked from day one frankly they should've never delivered the vehicle until everything was working properly. 2- The trans light came on at only 30,000 miles. 3-The driver side power retractable mirror no longer worked Each of these items are covered under "one of the better WARRANTY:" that they offer and I purchased. In addition i had to ask for a courtesy vehicle. The service manager told me "we don't have courtesy cars. so i called and spoke to the associate that writes up the warranties and he told me I'm absolutely entitled to a loaner car while they're performing warranty work. Then he tells me they don't have any at the time and i needed to wait till the beginning of the following week and inquire if they had a car for me. The response I should have gotten was we'll loan you a previously owned vehicle sir and when a "loaner" becomes available we will call you right away.That is SERVICE. Fast forward I bring the vehicle in and I'm introduced to the Rental/loaner gestapo who never cracks a smile and looks so happy to be there. You'd think he was loaning you his personal car. I felt like I was 17 asking my father to borrow his car. He gives me the keys and i had to ask him which car is it with out looking up he points to the great big parking lot and says "the one that's running" So now they have MY vehicle for a full 24 hours and I call to get a status report - because heaven forbid they should call me. I get the service manager and i get this song and dance about how the light lens has a crack indicating that it was damage and that is the reason the mirror fails to operate and it voids the warranty.. My husband and I were looking at trucks as we were thinking of getting one. We saw one we liked on display in Dunkirk and we stopped to look closer. The rep came out to talk to us. Soon we went for a test drive, we liked it, it rode real nice. We then went inside to talk money. Everyone was super friendly and nice. They are real people not phoney salesmen. We were given a good deal on our trade in so we got the truck. They had it all ready, did everything they said they would do, and were very prompt. We now have it home and we're very satisfied with the way it all went. When someone asks, even when they don't, we tell them the whys and wherefores. If you are reading this and looking for a car or truck, look at Ed Shults first. More
I purchased a used 2010 F350 4x4 loaded XLT pickup with 19,000 miles 10/15/13, at Schultz Ford Lincoln Mercury Nanuet N.Y.we arrived 8 pm during the week my brother for many years races cars in a quater mi 19,000 miles 10/15/13, at Schultz Ford Lincoln Mercury Nanuet N.Y.we arrived 8 pm during the week my brother for many years races cars in a quater mile in a professional setting,he examined the truck and said it is exactly as they advertised it ,the negotiation process was over in 5 minutes with a fair price ,they also gave me a 1 year warranty without requesting one,I financed a portion of the vechile and received a rate of 3.99 on a commercial registration,this was the best purchase experience ,my brother and his friend commented,the dealer stayed open late to finish the transaction ,treated us like gentlemen,what more can you ask for ,I picked up the truck a week later and was greeted warmly by the staff ,I would like to personally thank Edward and Vincent for a pleasurable experience,and I highly recommend Schultz Ford Lincoln Mercury of Nanuet N.Y. After a luke warm reception on our first visit to the dealership to purchase a vehicle I would have to say that our follow-up visit was very different. The Sales Manager Brian was very attentive to our n dealership to purchase a vehicle I would have to say that our follow-up visit was very different. The Sales Manager Brian was very attentive to our needs and his willingness to answer our questions and address our concerns was above par. The Sales Consultant Joe was just as attentive, courteous, very patient and knowledgeable. I have to say that overall, in the end they did meet and address our concerns and we where pleased with the outcome. More
