My Subaru used to be in South Carolina, and was meticulously maintained and gently driven, with no incidents. The car never had any major issues. Upon moving to South Dakota, I maintained the regular recommended service at Schulte Subaru, including oil changes. At Schulte's second oil change, the 48 point inspection revealed a need to reseal the right cam carrier, which was covered under the warranty. On the positive side, the warranty process was seamless, and Schulte did readily provide a loaner car. During the repair, the loaner car's oil pressure light came on, so I checked the oil, and it was much too high. Likewise, when I picked up our car from the dealership, the oil was much too high. When pointing this out, the customer service gave a feeble explanation that did not line up with the basic principles of proper oil level, per the car's manual. Apparently the oil is done with a machine, so I wonder if an improper machine setting is causing people to have seal issues and subsequent costly repairs - convenient for a dealership's profit margin. The whole process has been consistently defined by unreturned calls and rude/condescending customer service. It was implied that this seal issue would not have been pointed out had they know about our warranty. I also never received paperwork for the 48 point inspection associated with this repair. I am extremely disappointed, and expect much more quality and conscientious service from Subaru, and I hope this dealership will improve. If it weren't for the warranty, I would have traded in my Subaru for a Ford or similar. I will probably do this anyway when the warranty expires. I recognize that Schulte Subaru has a monopoly on a vast geographic area, so they can seemingly get away with shoddy service. In sum, this car has never had any issues until coming to Schulte Subaru, and the issues I have consistently had with this dealership are likely going to compel me to trade in my Subaru when the warranty expires. Went in for an oil change. They called an said my brake pads were in need of replacement in the next 6 months. Since this was the car our daughter used to travel to and from college 300 miles away, we op pads were in need of replacement in the next 6 months. Since this was the car our daughter used to travel to and from college 300 miles away, we opted to do so sooner. On her way to school, the brakes gave out completely. On the highway. We entrusted the safety of this vehicle to what we thought was a reputable vehicle, serviced by what we thought were honest and knowledgeable mechanics/ technicians. We were wrong. We will never trust our loved ones lives to such a poor and incompetent place ever again. More

They are the worst dealership we have dealt with. They were nothing but liars. They lied about the damage disclosure on the title and tried to say it was our fault when it fact it was theirs because th were nothing but liars. Although it was an out of state transaction, everything went very smoothly. This dealership and specifically Ryan McConnell was an absolute pleasure to work with. He even delivered the car to the Sioux Falls airport on a Saturday evening so we could get right on the road back to Colorado after picking up. The Colorado dealership that will remain unnamed could learn a few things about integrity and customer service from Schulte! I and super happy with the vehicle - thanks Schulte! More

They gave me more than expected for my trade and even delivered my 2019 Subaru Ascent to Rapid City and picked up my trade!
