uuuggg run for the hills uuuggggg run, bought a 2012 Mini Countryman worst car ever and I have been buying cars since 1978.and the service expertise here is pretty but how sho uuuggggg run, bought a 2012 Mini Countryman worst car ever and I have been buying cars since 1978.and the service expertise here is pretty but how should i say dreadful when it comes to mechanics Where to start... run flat tires are good for a year may be a little more and try to find one when you are on a road trip, yikes. This year I finally bought a doughnut spare that sits in the boot and regular tires. At about 85,000 miles the car started to come unhinged. Took it into this dealer and they could not diagnosis the problem, they thought it was the spark plugs they put in at about 84,000 miles and recommended replacing them....me thinks not. Was finally diagnosed at Addison Automotive as a stretched timing chain. Curiously Addison also found that the spark plugs installed by Schomp were only finger tight. The other mechanics had a device to clean the valve seats and replaced the timing chain...runs fine now........ ......except last week The check engine light came on...hmmm bad sign. Guess what the thermostat has a problem that shows up at about 90,000 miles. Mini even has a $1,000 cure for the problem...uuugggg So far in one year I think spent close to $4,000 repairing this car...I expect more from a high end car last ... Always run premium gas, and stay away from ethanol if possible....and if you like a groovy feel, coffee machine and snacks this could be your place.... More
NEVER AGAIN! DELIVERED A DIRTY VEHICLE & TOOK OVER 4 HOURS I live 300+ from the dealership and I found a car that I was interested in from their web page, a 2014 Acura MDX. I made a call and got in touch with a sales associate by the name of Jeremy. I asked about the car, I told him that I was interested in it and asked if he could put together some numbers. I told him that I would be making a special trip to look at the car if the price was right. We discussed numbers and he gave them to me in writing. We settled on an approximate price for my trade. This phone call took place on Saturday 08/12/2017. I let Jeremy know that I would be bringing my own financing and made arrangements that next week to have the funds. I even confirmed on Friday afternoon that we would be there Saturday morning to look at the car and hoping to make a purchase. My wife and I arrived at the dealership (10:45 am) after a 4 hour drive and met with Jeremy. He didn't remember who I was and started to do all of his paper work again, asking if I had a trade, etc. I could see my name on his board and asked if that was for me or someone else. It was mine with all of my information. He finally went and got the car and brought it to the front of the complex. It hadn't even been washed, bird droppings, dust and water spots all over it. He kept telling us that after the test drive we would be out of there in an hour. 4 hours later, (3:10 pm) we finally finished the paper work and left, making a trip to the car wash before heading home. They didn't like the fact that I already had my financing and kept trying to get us to finance through them. I can't blame it all on Jeremy, I feel that Nick had a big hand in making this as painful as he could. This was by far the worst experience that I have had in purchasing a vehicle. This morning I found out that the second remote for the vehicle doesn't work. Which I had to keep asking for before leaving. STAY AWAY!! More

Anthony Andreozzi, as well as John Costello, the Sales Managers are very personable, and create a welcome transparent transaction. This comes from and astronomically high expectation set by their highly professional and competent service department, starring Andy Cartwright and Kevin Peterson. We did not get our paperwork when we finished our dealings, but when we brought the mini countryman in for its finishing touches, the paperwork was in the car. There was a problem however. The paperwork which are carbon copies, were illegible. Consequently, we do not really know what our leasing agreement looks like due to the fact the carbon copies are so faint. Other than that this was an excellent experience. Perhaps we could get readable copies of the leasing agreement? Thank you so much for asking for our input. More

Unbelievable customer service WOW! I purchased a used Mercedes from this dealership. The process went so smoothly and they really do get you our in about an hour like they say. I't WOW! Mary Thompson at Schomp MINI, took the time to research, print documents, walk me through the process, introduce me to other staff and service professionals, and stayed with me until my needs were met! Jason stayed to notarize my paperwork while we waited on the previous owner to arrive, the service guys gladly filled my tires before I left and even walked me through some instructions that were most helpful! Mary really went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of and I so appreciate her attitude, as well as the entire staff at Schomp! I didn't spend a dime that day, yet each person I dealt with treated me with respect and in high regard. The character, knowledge and quality of people they have on staff is a direct reflection of the mentality and make up of Schomp! If I hadn't found my MINI already, I would definitely buy directly from them! I'll be back and will be sure to spread the word! I wanted to buy a specific Mini (R53), so I figured that I would look "back home" for one that would be rust free. I contacted Schomp Mini and was conneted with Nick Bartkus. I explained to Nick what I was looking for, why, and where I am located. He was glad to help, and went way beyond regular customer service, with continual call-backs and emails week after week. Although Schomp didn't get the model that I wanted in stock, Nick provided stellar service. Thanks Nick! More
