I had an idea of what I wanted and I felt like my experience that day could not have been better. The team was kind, patient, and not at all pushy (in the stereotypical "car-sales-y way"). Frustrated Long-Term Customer Who Was Lied To When I went to return my first car with Shortline Hyundai, my Hyundai Elantra, and trade it for a Sonata they took care of all expenses. They waived m When I went to return my first car with Shortline Hyundai, my Hyundai Elantra, and trade it for a Sonata they took care of all expenses. They waived most of my fees and got me in a step-up. Now, I'm here the second time for a step-up and they tell me that they can "maybe" waive the fees, to speak personally with the Finance department. Well, I get on the phone with the finance department and, of course, they directed me back to the dealer. Now, the dealer wants to tell me that they explained all this to my father, my previous co-signer. I'M NOT MY FATHER. I WAS TOLD SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. I was told it could be sorted out with financing, why couldn't I have been told it wasn't possible?! I feel like I was pushed into a new car without the usual Shortline treatment. I love my new Hyundai Sonata Sport, but I AM NOT SATISFIED WITH SHORTLINE HYUNDAI. Considering this is my sixth year and third vehicle with them (not to mention it's an upgrade), I would've enjoyed getting the same offer I got before: my fees waived. Now I'm having to pay the excessive miles fee, which they took care of last time, and have to pay a whopping $700 that I wasn't prepared to pay. So I'm BEYOND pissed with Shortline Hyundai and they won't get another dime from me. If I need a repair, oil change, tire-rotation, etc. I will GLADLY take my business elsewhere. I hope somebody is taking time to read this comment, because as I continue typing it I feel myself become more and more distrustful of Shortline. After my 3 years is up on this lease, I'll most likely take my business elsewhere WHERE SALESMEN DON'T BLATANTLY LIE TO YOUR FACE. More
