Schomp, I understand your desire to respond publicly to try to explain how you felt our interaction the day of our purchase went. I would like to clarify that the "first responder" discount program did, in fact, include hospital workers when it was initially announced and was later adjusted to specifically exclude them. Additionally, I never had a conversation with Noah Toro, he would only talk with Drew back in his office, I could not tell you who Noah is as I did not see him in person/ Also, I briefly spoke with Merrie after our purchase was completed and we were about to drive off the lot. The only Schomp employee who interreacted with us, prior to our purchase being finalized, and tried to answer our questions was Andrew Latham. Who again was fantastic and I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a sales representative. Finally, regarding your question for the third and final point of "one price" we felt a reasonable alternative was offering even just an extra hundred dollars or two to our trade in, especially given how hot the used car market is, as a way to not offer us a stand alone discount violating the Schomp one price policy. To be perfectly honest, I was not trying to have a public conversation regarding this matter. I just wanted to share our experience for anyone else to make sure they understood how certain "discount programs" may change and impact their experience. If you would like to continue this I would prefer to not do so publicly. However, I wanted to respond to clarify Noah never made an attempt to speak with us, nor had we ever heard that name until your prior response. Given the false claims of how it was handled we have lowered our review of Schomp.

Schomp, I am wondering if you have my wife and I confused with some other customers. I can 100% assure you, neither my wife or I had any conversations with Noah (and were honestly a bit shocked which was why we referenced that in our initial response above), nor did we go back to his office. We sat at Andrews desk and only spoke to him. Andrew went back to the office to speak to Noah a few times about our requests as I have referenced in my prior responses, but Noah never came out to have a conversation with us. I would imagine if you were to ask Andrew he would also recall that Noah never spoke with us, however, I do not wish to speak for Andrew. Secondly, I have no idea who Dustin is and never claimed to have been texting with him. We texted and had calls with Andrew prior to coming in, but that was the only person we can recall. I even checked my text message thread and did not see any messages to or referencing Dustin in my past few month history, which again, makes me wonder if you have us confused. I would note we still have our text messages with Andrew about our purchase, but he is the only Schomp employee in our records. At this point I truly hope that whoever is responding on Schomp's behalf, has us confused with a different customer. Finally, I am slightly confused by your desire "not to provoke me". My only intention in writing a review was to be honest about my experience. Which is why I initially provided the dealership a 3 star review and Andrew a 5. We were disappointed that Andrew was put in the middle and had to relay the information from the manager and that after our request the Manager did not come speak with us or at least acknowledge it was unfortunate. I was not looking to have a public conversation (as noted in my above response that you responded publicly to anyway) and would have happily taken a phone call to discuss our experience. However, I felt as though your prior responses were insinuating that I was not telling the truth, or lying, about our experience so I felt the need to respond. For example, you insinuated the program never included healthcare workers, but it did, which is why we were disappointed that my wife no longer qualified - but would have previously. Additionally, you keep claiming that we spoke with Noah. I can assure you that never happened. As noted above, I acknowledge that we spoke to Merrie, who was perfectly respectful and heard us express our disappointment in how the situation was handled (and heard our expression of our satisfaction with Andrew), but again this was as we were about to drive off the lot. Now you are claiming that we referenced texting Dustin, who similar to Noah, we never heard of before your prior responses and have no records of interacting with. To be perfectly frank, we did not have a bad perception of Schomp, we were disappointed in how it was handled of course and just wanted to honestly provide a review of how our experience went. However, this interaction quickly took on a defensive and argumentative tone which has not helped our perception of the Company. I would politely request that if you would like to discuss our experience any further, that we please do so privately. At this point, the responses seem to be more about trying to control the narrative instead of just acknowledging the situation could have been handled differently. Thank you
