My experience was pleasant from the get go. My schedule changes often and from the very beginning Dustin Keller made it clear he could accomodate my schedule. We are both relatively new to the process and because I tend to make things a little more complicated than necessary I’d like to think I was a good learning experience for him. Dustin was gracious and patient with me and both of my parents who he was lucky enough to get to chat with a couple times. I wasn’t able to get there until later than we had planned on a Friday night. We’d make progress and I’d throw in a wrench. He maintained his professionalism through the entire process which between my dad on speaker phone, another driver during the test drive and the lateness of the night he couldve easily lost his cool. But the vehicle and Dustin proved their quality and I knew I found what I was needing. Due to my financial situation I came back on Monday to do the final purchase and by chance the car I had tested had been sold. But before I had arrived Dustin had found me two options both of which were much better suited to my needs and every time I get in my new car I’m so grateful that the timing of things worked out so nicely. While I waited for everything to be processed Mo came by to see if I needed anything. Thank you Mo for my introduction to that magical coffee machine. And Thomas, both late on Friday night and as we finished up the final sale on Monday swooped in and was very willing to work with my situation to make sure everything went smoothly. Dont bother purchasing the one protect windshield insurance from Schomp. Trying to get my windshield replaced under that protection plan was an absolute nightmare. I had taken in my Hyundai to hav insurance from Schomp. Trying to get my windshield replaced under that protection plan was an absolute nightmare. I had taken in my Hyundai to have the charging port diagnosed because I was having issues with it. They gave me a loaner vehicle to use while I left it in the shop for three days so they could do that and replace the windshield. Then at the end of the day on a Thursday I got a text that they didn't replace it because they were missing a bracket that they had to order from Canada. I then tried to schedule a time to take it in for the replacement that would not require being without a vehicle all day so that I could make it to work. I was told that the glass guy only shows up on Thursdays and they never know what time he will arrive so I would just have to leave my car there all day. I asked about getting a loaner and was told that since it was not a Hyundai warranty repair visit they could not authorize a loaner. Sounding ridiculous? It gets better. Dropped off my car at 8am this past week. Had not heard anything by 11am so I asked if there had been any progress or if there is an ETA of when my car would be done so I could pick it up and try to get to work for the last half of the day. I got a response of "I dont have an exact eta but it will be done by the end of the day". I then text again around 2pm to see about getting back to the dealership in time to take it home so I would have a vehicle for work on Friday. I got a response saying the glass guy still had not shown up, but he should be there in a few minutes. Around 2:30pm I got notification that my car doors had been left unlocked. This would indicate that the work had started. I got an uber back to the dealership which is an hour from my house across town. I arrived around 4:15pm and went to the service desk to ask if my car was done. I was told not yet.. so I said ok I will be in the waiting area. Around 4:53pm I asked again if my car was done and was told verbatim, "Not sure, still waiting". I sat in the waiting area again.. they close at 6pm so when it was close to 5:45pm I checked for the location of my car. It looked like it was parked behind the service center which is where they put the cars when they are done working on them. I walked the counter again and asked if it was done. I was told "Nope, still waiting". I said you are closing in 5 minutes arent you? I need it back before I leave today. He then got up and said he would check with the foreman. Then he comes back with my key and goes oh its been done sorry not sure for how long. I get in my car after it gets pulled around and its super hot in the cabin which means its been out in the sun for a long duration of time. It was most likely already done when I first arrived at the dealership. Nightmare. You guys should figure this out. I feel like you dont care at all about me as a consumer after I purchased a vehicle at your dealership earlier this year. More
