Shortline did the right thing 03/20: I am revising my review as I was contacted by the Internet Manager in January who read my review and wanted to make things right. Although, this manager is no longer with Shortline I began working with John Bowell (VP) who was willing to listen to my situation and do whatever it took to make things right. After a convincing conversation with John, I realized my unfortunate situation was more of a comedy of errors as opposed to Shortline being just another dealership. John was extremely patient, kind and even had Tom Karros come pick up my vehicle from my office so I wouldn't have to drive to the dealership. Tom was super nice and accommodating - showed up when he said he would an delivered my car back to me on time. John went over and above to provide additional services and perks to make up for my past experience. I would highly recommend Shortline for used or a new car. And, if you can ask, for Tom as he really seemed trustworthy and caring. I know I will look there first the next I buy another car. 12/05: I was told by the sales person that the used car I bought would be detailed prior to my picking it up - it wasn't, still had a lot of "used" mess on the inside and someone's candy food wrappers in it. Negotiated a clear bra for the vehicle I purchased and was told, after the sale, I would have to bring the car back to have the bra added and that it would take one day. I didn't get may car back for 3 days. Both the car I bought and the loaner car both had less than an 1/8 of a tank of gas - had to fill both cars up at my expense. I asked three different people when signing for the car to make sure that the paperwork they were going to send to me had ALL the documentation I needed to get it licensed. I get to the DMV the first time, waited in line for 1.5 hours and don't have all the title documents. had to go back to the dealer (over an hour drive time back and forth) and although they were nice about it, I still wasted 1/2 of my day (had to take time off of work). I went to the DMV the next day, waited another 1.5 hours and still did not have the correct title work. Again, nice folks in the title department of the dealership, however, had to waste another 1/2 day off from work and go back to the DMV for a third time and this time only had to wait one hour to finally get it licensed....yippie. The person answering phones (did not get her name), Jill and Denise in the title department were very, very nice and did what they could to make up for the incompetence of others. They should probably run the place - it would make for happier customers. Just a horrible experience. More

Hyundai Santa Fe Great service from Joyce Thompson and the "new guy" Bill.
