I have had all service on my 2001 Odyssey completed by Ralph Schomp Honda, including the oil changes. Between the quality of the vehicle and service, I have over 280,000 miles on it in 10 years of owning Ralph Schomp Honda, including the oil changes. Between the quality of the vehicle and service, I have over 280,000 miles on it in 10 years of owning it. And it is still going strong. Looking forward to the milestones of 300,000, 350,000 and maybe even 400,000. Thanks so much for servicing it so well. More
Our first experience with Ralph Schomp Honda was in 2007 when we bought our 2004 CR-V. We also bought the extended warrenty. Within a couple of months of purchase (if that) the AC went out. The compressor when we bought our 2004 CR-V. We also bought the extended warrenty. Within a couple of months of purchase (if that) the AC went out. The compressor had exploded/disintigrated,committed compressorcide. In any event, it had compromised the entire system. The warrenty was going to cover everything but some hoses ar something. This would have cost us $700-$800 dollars. Ralph Schomp absorbed that cost and all we paid was our $50 deductable. We have had to use the warrenty twice since then and we always recieve our vehile back promptly and shiney clean. I sometimes think she gets tired of being diety and messes up just to get a good bath..LOL. We also own a 1986 Prelude that has been our "baby" since we bought it from John Elway Honda in 1993. We have kept her up mechanicely and body wise, even having her stripped and repainted in 2005. We recently had a scare. We had just filled her up and brought her into the garage for the night. It was during a week when we were having sub zero temperatures. The garage only has room for one car even though it is a two car garage as my husband has far too mant toys, I mean tools..LOL. Our garage is heated with an overhead gas heater so when it's really cold or snowy, we put the car he is driving (we also own an Accura) in the gargage so it will be warm in the morning, then when he leaves, he puts my car insde as I don't leave for a couple more hours. I knew he had just filled the Prelude with gas. My office and our bedroom are above the garage. I heard the heater come on around 11:00 PM as I was working in the office and my husband was already asleep in bed. I started smelling gasoline fumes and went down to the garage to check. There wasa huge puddle of gas under the car. I immediately shut down the furnace and opened the garage door then went to wake my husband. Before waking him, I looked under the car and the gas tank itself seeded fine. The gas was coming from the filler neck. Just to confirm this, we took the car to my nephew's engine shop. He said that Honda had had a recall on that part in 1993, the year we bought it. We went to Ralph Schomps and they looked up the vin # and found that the part had been replaced in '93. Chris, the service manager, was not there, but Nhat Nguwen said he would see what he could do for us. They called the next day, saying it would take about a week to locate the part (it HAD been 18 years)but as soon as it came in, we could drop the car off and the part would be replaced at no cost, not even labor, to us. Now THAT is really taking care of your customers. I'm pround to say she will get "collecter" plates this year and has well over 200,000 on the engine without ever having had one engine problem. We have repleced normal wear items such as timing belt, clutch. alteraters. etc., but she is still a sporty little get up and go car. We are currently in the talking stages (hubby and myself) of trading in our'04 CR-V for a new one, and, of course we will go to Ralph Schomp, even if they have to bring in what we want from another dealership. Couldn't be happier. The service waiting area is bright and clean and comfortable and is always stocked with complimentary water, coffee, teas and hot chocolate. Kudos,Kudos,Kudos!! The individual that took my information was very courteous and honored my request to see if it was possible to get my car done a few minutes early. Appreciated the wrap up by Ali and her promptness. She was very knowledgeable. I always like the car washes and ensuring that the car is dried off. More
Easy tranaction. John made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. They even filled my gas tank. The paperwork process was very straight forward and I didnt feel any pressure to buy "add on answered all my questions. They even filled my gas tank. The paperwork process was very straight forward and I didnt feel any pressure to buy "add on's". Everything was explained to me and they were even able to offer me a warranty on my car( surprising becasue I bought a 1991 car and I didnt think that was possible). And the best part was no hidden fees, just tax. I love the one price philosophy, its so much easier than spending the day arguing about the price. I find that whole process a waste of time and very frustrating. They had me out of there in less than a couple of hours( I had already looked at the car online and pretty much knew I wanted it before I even got there). The price was very fair, as a matter of fact, I would say it was a great deal! Thanks again Schomp. More
I brought the car in for a standard service. I called in the morning and was able to bring the car in that afternoon. This was a suprise. Normally I have been unable to get same day service at the dealershi the morning and was able to bring the car in that afternoon. This was a suprise. Normally I have been unable to get same day service at the dealership. So that was greatly appreciated and fit with my schedule perfectly. Ali was friendly and explained everything that was being done to the car including pricing. She even recognized that my car had been washed and suggested that the dealer not wash off the car as is normal practice. That was appreciated. The car was ready before the time promised and that was appreciated also. Overall a very nice experience. Thank you again. More
This visit was preceded by a phone call to Nick, internet sales, who was most professional, friendly, helpful & for me, a recent widow planning to purchase a vehicle unattended "by a male protector", there sales, who was most professional, friendly, helpful & for me, a recent widow planning to purchase a vehicle unattended "by a male protector", there was no "pressure sales" or feeling of intimidation as he patiently answeredi my questions & freely gave me pricing. Was a very busy day @ the dealership & because of previous appointments for sales it was necessary for Eric & Moe to tag team with me. Just perhaps my indecisiveness as to color, etc might have played a "minor role" in the length of time I spent in your showroom. I could not have asked for two more knowledgable, helpful & entertaining people than Eric & Moe. Ralph Schomp's business practices was much in evidence & was a ray of sunshine for me in what could have ben an ordeal. Everyone I encountered was very friendly with offers of nourishment, etc, quick to share a laugh. Now if Service Dept would call me to setup an appointment for the install of Tailgate Spoiler this would be another reason to sing Schomp's praises. Thanks. Pat Shirling More

Good experience and what I have come to expect from Schomp dealers. My wife and I have now purchased three cars from you all now, and anticipate there will be more in the future. Mark was a good sale Schomp dealers. My wife and I have now purchased three cars from you all now, and anticipate there will be more in the future. Mark was a good salesman, and we didn't deal too much with the sales manager but he worked with us well on finalizing the deal. The finance guy was very good as well, Jesse. I enjoyed the experience. When we stop very enjoyable. We made our first visit to check out Honda back in December. Fred kept in touch with us and followed up as we requested. When we stopped in last week, he was ready for us. All our questions were answered in a knowledgeable, respectful manner. We felt no pressure and no condescending attitudes experienced at other dealerships over the years. Fred took the time to discuss our needs, expectations, desires, etc. and then made model and feature recommendations accordingly. Then, after test driving two distinctly separate models (our choice), he worked with us to narrow down our to be selected vehicle. Henry was very straightforward and open to duscuss the valuation of our trades. And, while awaiting delivery due to a service issue, Tim helped to speed up the repair. In all, we were very satisfied with our experience and are already talking about coming back to Schomp when we're ready to replace our Volvo XC90. More
Overall good experience, a couple of points to work on: Overall good experience, a couple of points to work on: 1) Financing went over several options that were a step above the agreed upon price, and th Overall good experience, a couple of points to work on: 1) Financing went over several options that were a step above the agreed upon price, and they one was deceptively labeled "standard". The person we worked with was very friendly, etc, but at this point he went through these premium offerings and asked which one we preferred. Without mentioning the standard base price which I would assume most people are expecting at first. We had to explicitly ask for that option. Seemed more deceptive/manipulative than the experience should be. I would get rid of this sort of practice. Besides this one issue, our financing person was great, but I really shouldn't walk out of a financing for a new car feeling like I was almost duped. I do realize this is one way that you as a dealer makes money, but I would request that you add in that base price on your options sheet and force the financing person to mention it as one of the options... 2) Our new 2010 FIT had scratches on the hood and needed a TPMS adjustment. Our sales person was kind enough to offer to fix these issues, which we expected, the only problem is we have to set up a meeting to swap out the car since we don't live near Littleton at all (we're in Lafayette). It would be great to extend your partnerships with external detailers/auto mechanics in the front range cities (like boulder) so that we could do this more conveniently. But, it is a great thing that our salesman was honest about the issues and offered to fix them, we did appreciate this very much. And we are grateful that we at least don't have to drive to littleton to get the work done. So overall, this isn't a problem but more nitpicky suggestion... thanks, jon burns More
